Rockheart twitched one ear in nervous excitement. "Anyone you're hoping to see, Leafglaze?" he asked. He knew that his sister had once had a friendship with a RiverClan tom. But he'd put a stop to it. "I mean, with all the Clans gathering, it would be unwise to have rivalries, right?"

Leafglaze looked over at her brother. He seemed a little.... But either way, she began to think of Batfur and took a quick glance through the group. "No, Rockheart," she mewed, resting a tail on his shoulder, hoping to calm him down. "No one here is important."

[Goldenstorm]

Raincloud's ear twitched as she picked up a new scent. Lonestripe. She pushed it away until she could help finish the lesson put before her.

Thrushflame pushed his way through the crowd to the front, he wanted to be one of the first to be in the new territory, or one of the first to die trying. He was willing to risk his life for the sake of all the others, no matter what their Clan. The tom was desperately trying to take back all the wrong things he had done in his life, a never ending quest for the FireClan tom.

Ferretflight sat in the near middle of the mass collection of cats, all of them. Big, little, skinny, fa- well, none of them were fat. Not even the RiverClan cats. But regardless, all ranks were here. Even the kits. She decided to stick near the young ones to help any of the queens or the kits if trouble came about. The quickest way to finish the journey is to stop making a fuss about origins and do your best to get along, Ferretflight was going to try.

Shadefall padded through the FireClan cats, Ravenflight stickling close to his side. The two friends looked tense and worn out, hungry like the rest. But otherwise fine. The younger tom looked up, his eyes resting on Ferretflight. He bounded over to her, smiling.

Batfur skulked amongst the ranks of the RiverClan cats, just barely able to see Leafglaze. He avoided her gaze, afraid that would hint to the other Clans about something other than the normal between-Clan relationship. His tail swished, and he sat down, scratching behind one ear with a hind paw.

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight looked behind her as she heard pawsteps coming her way. "Oh, hi Shadefall." she mewed, smiling. The journey was finally starting and it was nice to know that she had a friend on her side.

OOC: *snickers at Rockheart*

"Are you excited, Rockheart?" She asked her brother, leaning against him a little. She sighed happily, unsure if she was ready to leave or not. He eyes suddenly found the dark pelt and bulky body of Batfur and her heart sank. What would be the future of she and her brother? It was all confusing and all so sad. She didn't want to distance from him like she had from Blazesong, their sister.

[Naruto]

Rockheart nodded. "Yep. I just hope we find this new territory soon, so I won't have webbed feet." He held up one of his paws, stretching his toes to see the pale gray fur between.

Foxpaw limped into the Gathering area, her eyes bright and excited. Her body was riddled with scars from her fight with Kestrelpaw, and the wounds ached from the rain. But she was okay, so eh. She waved her tail. This was her first, and apparently last time being here.

Shadefall purred. "Hey Ferretflight!"

Ferretflight extended her claws into the ground, her tail going up straight. "I can't wait to start moving. The excitement is starting to make my whiskers shake, I don't know how much longer I can wait!" she purred, her eyes bright and happy.

OOC: GRAWR! GO FIRECLAN CATS!

Thistlefur padded along, greeting friends from gatherings, looking for Barkfur. When he saw her, he blinked. What should he do? He longed to run over to her but all of Shadowclan were present... He forced himself to walk stiffly over to her, clearing his eyes of all emotion. "Hello Barkfur."

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Brightpaw weaved among the FireClan cats, taking in all the scents. She'd never been to a gathering, so she didn't know what the other Clans smelled like. As she was looking around a pair of kits tangled between her legs. "H-hey!" she jamped back a bit, taken by surprise.
"YOU must be FIRECLAN!" the tortoiseshell kit sat, wide-eyed. "I've never seen a FireClan cat before!" the black kit beside her rolled his eyes.
"You've never seen ANY other Clan cats except ours, you mouse-brain."
"Don't be so mean, Moonkit. I bet I could bite off your ear in two seconds."
"Yeah, right. Starkit, you'd just spend a whole quarter-moon gnawing on it."
"Whatever."
With that, the kits bounced away. Brightpaw blinked. What in the name of StarClan was that? She shrugged and went back to her Clan that had found a place to settle for the moment. Then she started looking for Mudfoot. Perhaps he would be able to calm her fears.
She'd grown up here, trained here. Even though the land was in shambles, she couldn't say she wouldn't miss the territory.

Fawnstep decided to occupy herself with looking after her half-brother and -sister. She found them roaming around, leaving a group of FireClan cats.
"Moonkit, Starkit!" she called, "Get over here." the kits obediently trotted over to the spotted warrior. She flicked her ears. "You two shouldn't be wandering around by yourselves." she scolded. It's not that she didn't trust the other Clans, she just...didn't trust the other Clans. "Stay with the TunderClan group until we leave. Then I can take you to meet the other Clan cats while we're traveling."
Starkit tilted her head. "We're leaving? I thought this was a gathering,"
"No, stupid, we're leaving the territory for a new one." Moonkit growled. "Did you not notice all the disasters that've happened that last few moons? The little prey we've had to eat? Anything at all?"
Starkit was silent for the first time in her life.
"Alright, you two, stop bickering. Come with me." Fawnstep sighed. She led them back to the main group of ThunderClan cats.

Berrykit looked at the Riverclan cat. "So thats why..." She mewed more to herself. Then she saw another clan entering. "Goldenstorm! Goldenstorm! There are more cats coming! Who are they?", she mewed and hid herself under Goldenstorm.

OOC: Dawnblossom's a museless charrie, I'll have her come over.

RC: Shadestone strutted confidently into the Gathering Place. He held his head high as he took in all the scents of the clans. But his confidence was only a show for his mate and kits. He didn't want them to know how fast his heart was pounding, or how much he want to screech in terror at the long journey ahead. Many cats would get hurt.....how many would even die on the journey? What if his mate got seriously injured? What if one of their kits died? Shadestone tried to push those morbid thoughts out of his mind.

He looked back at his mate, worry smoldering in her dark brown eyes. Then, his gaze turned to his children. Pebblepaw was sitting stiffly with his tail wraped around his paws. He looked as terrified as he would if every cat in the area was a hungry badger ready to swallow him up. But Berrypaw looked like she couldn't be happier anywhere else. Did she truly understand how much they were giving up by leaving? Probably not....but Shadestone wasn't going to burst her bubble. Not yet, anyways.

Dawnblossom swiped her tongue vigorously across Berrypaw's fur, only to hear her wine and complain about it. "Mom, stop it! I don't need any grooming!" Berrypaw protested. "Yes you do. Now sit still!" Dawnblossom ordered sternly. After she was done grooming Berrypaw, she started softly grooming Pebblepaw. "It's going to be all right," She whispered into his ear. He looked terrified, so Dawnblossom made sure her laps were soft and gentle.

Soon, they were both clean. Dawnblossom looked calm, but inside she was feeling as scared as Pebblepaw looked. She thought about the hunger, the exhaustion, the pain.....No! I have to keep my mind off of that right now She thought. Maybe talking to someone will help. Dawnblossom padded over to the first cat she saw; a Thunderclan queen. What was her name again? Deerstep? Fawnfur? She couldn't quite remember, but she padded over anyways.

"Hello," Dawnblossom greeted, sounding happy. "Are these your kits?"

The spotted she-cat's ears perked at the words. She turned and smiled in greeting. "Oh, no, they were my mother's last litter. My half brother and sister, Moonkit and Starkit." she said. Starkit gazed up at the other she-cat, wide-eyed.
"What Clan are you from?" the little tortoiseshell asked.
"I'm Fawnstep, by the way." the young warrior mewed. "What's your name?"

Barkfur scented Thistlefur before she saw him. When she turned around he was there, right before her. "Hi Thistlefur." she mewed blankly, remembering that the rest of the Clans were still in front of them.

Goldenstorm looked over, "Those are the cats of the newest Clans, FireClan." he mewed, nodding his head.

Badgerclaw came over as he heard that, "I used to live in FireClan." he barged in, remembering his home Clan.

Raincloud sighed, they were all finally here. Now the journey could be started.

Platypusface was grumpy. He had been awoken much too early and his fur was sticking up in all directions. In the clearing, he kept to himself.

Rainsong wandered. She was looking for Goldfeather. Suddenly, someone bit her tail. Rainsong turned around. "Hello, Goldfeather" "Please walk with me. I'm so scared" Rainsong twined her tail around her sister's. "We are all one clan tonight, aren't we Rainsong."

[Bumblebee~*]

OOC: I didn't feel like reading. So if something's wrong, pretend it's right. Yeah.

Moonlight shone brightly overhead, illuminating two identical golden pelts. "We can't leave this place! This has been our home for countless moons!" The she-cat whispered fervently. A low chuckle was all her brother gave in response. "Sunnyfern, you can't deny the fact that this place is nearly void of food. The rain has chased all the prey away, and prematurely rotted the herbs." He said in a matter-of-fact tone. He didn't really mind the fact that they were leaving. He shrugged and pressed closer to his twin sibling. She was far too worked up about things.

Sunnyfern blinked in dismay at her sibling. How can he be so calm about these things? She shook her head. "Riverbreeze, you mouse-brain." She muttered. She loved her brother, yes, but he really was too calm about leaving. Honestly, they were leaving their home! For good! Wasn't he even worried they wouldn't make it through the journey?

A small grey form lingered at the back of the crowd. Once again, Joypaw wasn't feeling much to anything. Her mind was filled with the past few days, and Eaglekit's confession kept ringing in her mind. Joypaw, I really like you. Joypaw... She almost let out a wail. Why me? That was the question she kept demanding. Why would anyone like her, anyways? She wasn't especially interesting. She wanted desperately to talk to somebody to take her mind off things. Where was Soulpaw? Melodypaw, even if she was too cheery for her liking? She realized she hadn't seen, never mind talked to her sister for quite a while now.

Tigershadow padded along with his Clan, his normally bright eyes glazed and dull. His dark brown tabby form was moving mechanically, as if he'd been stripped of his soul. Robinpaw... don't die... Sweetfur... if you touch her... I'll kill you... His lips moved with his thoughts, but no sound came out.

Sunnyfern shook her head and padded away from her brother. He was too nonchalant for her liking. She turned her head back for a moment, only to bump into what felt like an oversized squirrel tail. "S-Sorry!" She squeaked, doubling back. It was... Platy... Platysomething. Platypus, or something like that. What was a platypus, anyways?

OOC: Everybody watch out...THERE'S A CREEPY FREAK COMIN'!

Stormfury left the group of Riverclan cats he was with and prowled around randomly, his stone-grey tail flicking back and forth. He didn't stop to talk to anybody, and ignored anyone who tried to talk to him. He didn't need mindless conversation, he needed to know who was weak and who was strong. Stormfury occasionally shot looks at Silverstar and Smoketail. They looked healthy and strong. Roaming around once more, he locked eyes with a Thunderclan warrior, silently bared his fangs, and prowled away. There didn't seem to be anyone the could be easily picked off...with the exception of kits.

[Bumblebee~*]

Ravenfeather hissed as a cat brushed past her. Her mood was still really bad from like... a billion years ago with the Batpaw... no, Batfur incident. She had yet to figure out who the ThunderClan she-cat was. Pfft. Why did she care, anyways? She was RiverClan. The other cat was ThunderClan. Batfur was a bumbling idiot.

She padded away from her Clanmates. They were all bumbling idiots too. She narrowed her eyes, ice blue chips of flint in the dark. Everyone was so flipping annoying. And ugly. That was just a bonus. Most of them would be too weak to complete the journey, she knew that as well as anyone. Only the strongest will get to see our new homes.

She wondered if she was one of them.

Platypusface turned around to see that a cat had walked into him "S-Sorry." the cat squeaked. "Don't worry about it. I didn't feel it anyways." He replied. "I'm pretty mouse-brained, so remind me who you are." He sat down, staring at the cat.

[Bumblebee~*]

"I'm Sunnyfern." She muttered, averting her gaze. She had forgotten his name, but didn't want to ask. She knew she'd been a little... out of it for the past... well, StarClan knew how long. She didn't know why.

OOC: Muse drainage! :D

OOC: Same.

"I'm Platypusface." He made a worthless attempt to fix his fur. It actually stuck up more. How is that possible? "So.....uh......" YOU ARE A MOUSE BRAINED IDIOT. If you are going to say something say it! "Where do you think we're going?"

[Bumblebee~*]

A blank look was all she could manage. How am I supposed to know? I don't even think StarClan knows. She tried not to pull the cat equivalent of a =_= look. The author of this post didn't know how to describe that face so she just did that. "Honestly, I have no idea. It had better be one heck of a good place though, wherever it is. We're leaving our generations-old home for it!"

"I'm actually glad to be going." Platypusface looked around. " There are more bad memories here than good for me." Shut up. No one wants to hear your sob story. "I'm still sorry that other cats are going to miss this place." He twitched his tail.

[Naruto]

Smoketail sat down, twitching his tail slightly. Somewhere around that point Wolfstar collapsed and when he went over to see if the frail leader was alright, he was dead. "Oh great StarClan not this!" he growled, grief filling his voice.

((Yeah... I didn't know what to do. :<))

[Lynx]

"Wolfstar!", all of Lynx' Windclan cats mewed at once. "Oh no, Starclan! Our beloved leader is dead!"

All of Lynx' other cats gathered around the dead Windclan leader. "Smokestar is now Leader of Windclan", they mewed.
