Time To Get Up, Training Time (Naru+Sparrow)

Griffonpaw dropped his prey off at the fresh-kill pile and he made his way over to the Apprentices Den. Cloudfrost was supposively following. Griffonpaw shoved his way into the den and found Cinderpaw. He prodded her shoulder gently "Cinderpaw-" he whispered, "Cinderpaw, you wanted to get up?" he mewed calmly.

Cloudfrost waited outside the den patiently, his ears twitching occasionally in annoyance.

Cinderpaw realized Griffonpaw was waking her up "Oh hello, how was your hunt?" she asked sleepily.

Griffonpaw smiled as he dipped his head. "Great. You should've seen the rat I brought back. Do you want to join Cloudfrost and I in battle training?" he asked quietly.

ooc: i don't have a mentor yet. can one of your cats from sc be my mentor "I don't think i can today I'm going to go out on a hunt later if you care to join" Cinderpaw said quickly.

"Alright. Sleep well, Cinderpaw." Griffonpaw mewed softly as he padded back out the Apprentices Den. "Let's go." he meowed smiling at Cloudfrost.

"'Kay."Cloudfrost rumbled, standing.

ooc: kk "okay I'm going to see if the elders need new bedding." Cinderpaw said while she got to her feet and stretched.

Griffonpaw dipped his head to the she-cat and began to lead the way out of the camp. He stopped, "Maybe you should lead, your my mentor."

Cloudfrost looked down guiltily. "Uh, yeah, i guess so."he muttered, walking out front. He was actually really nervous;the snow disguised every smell and feeling by numbing his paws and nose with freezing water, so he couldn't distinguish smells properly. But would he admit that? No. Way.

Griffonpaw could sense his mentor's nervousness. But he said not a word, to hurt someone's pride was worse than killing them. It stayed with them forever. He would let Cloudfrost lead him wherever, if might happen to stray to close to an object, he would find a soft tail touch in his white shoulder to make sure he was going the right way.

after Cinderpaw had changed the bedding, she decided to care for the kits. She was always amazed at the kits. when she walked into the nursery they were play-fighting, she decided to sit and watch, Cinderpaw loved the kits so much, obviously some apprentices had been teaching them some play-moves.

Cloudfrost took a deep breath and bounded out into the forest, plastering a smile on his face as he tried to look confident to lead Griffonpaw to the training area. But, just as he'd feared, a briar tendril wrapped around his paws and he fell flat on his face.

Griffonpaw stopped, trying to decide what to do. Better do this. He purposely kept going, and tripped over the same briar tendril. "Stupid tendril, I didn't see it." he growled, mutturing so that Cloudfrost could hear him.

OOC: YOU PEEPS! FOREST THREADS ARE IN THE TERRITORY! *serious face*

Feralpelt walked over to the apprentices den and poked her head inside. She was looking for her apprentice to do some training, of course. She wouldn't be looking otherwise, naturally. This was her first apprentice, and their second or third training session, so, she was still trying to get things right. "Cinderpaw?" She mewed, looking at each nest.

She wasn't in there... so where was she? She backed out and looked around the clearing. Where could she be?

Cinderpaw watched the kits play-fight on the floor of the nursery until she got a worried scent in the air so she left into the clearing.

Feralpelt sighed as she began to give up her search. Cinderpaw was probably out with a friend of something. Hunting, something or other. Well, hopefully she was hunting and taking initiative, unlike some cats around here, namely the overrun of loners and rogues and such. She knew this would happen. As soon as that darn SILVERPELT came over here. Now they were full of them, and there was nothing she could do about it.

She started to turn around, but as she did, spotted her apprentice. "Cinderpaw!" She called before flicking her tail to beckoner her near.

Cinderpaw ran over to her mentor."hello Feralpelt" she said in a calm voice.

"Cinderpaw," Feralpelt started with a grin, "we're going to do some training." She gave a nod, her own excitement showing in her grin. It was their fourth training after all! A milestone! It almost made her want to jump for joy! But she wasn't a kit, nor was she still an apprentice, so doing that was rather... unprofessional.

"I was thinking we could do some hunting!"

"Great, we can meet up with Griffonpaw and Cloudfrost!" she said happily hoping to see her friend.
