It's Variation Training Time! [Leopardpaw l Silvercloud l OPEN]

Silvercloud had a sleepless night the night before; although somehow her paws were unbelievably active. She felt no warriness. As the she-cat padded into the apprentice den her mind whirled to Leopardpaw and how his dream went last time. They were starting. The unavoidable dreams. "Leopardpaw?" Her voice echoed throughout the apprentice den, not bothering to keep it down. Although still sweet like honey, Silvercloud's voice had some sort of urgency in it. "Time for battle training. Today we work on variations and a ... special move I designed for you last night." It was true. The night before she had spent time thinking up a perfect move for the apprentice. Swipe, trip, jump, twist, roll, finish with a nip at the bottom legs.

Leopardpaw was surprised Silvercloud even trusted him enough to learn a 'special move'. He would think she would be wary of him turning evil, which he was sure he wasn't going to. He was just... Confused. Like Silvercloud he had had a sleepless night, whether it was spent tossing and turning in his sleep tortured by images of his own death over and over. Padding tiredly towards his mentor he kept his head down, trying to hide the fact that he didn't feel up to training that much and his mind was focused on other things.

Silvercloud felt a twang of frustration. Yesterday, her apprentice had been completely up for training, and now he didn't want anything to do with her. "Oh Leopardpaw, you know I don't think of you as a monster. I am warning you of what I've seen." She mewed before racing into the forest clearing.

"Seen? What have you seen?" Leopardpaw mewed, shocked, had she seen his future. And of course it would be horrible if it had been anything good Silvercloud would tell him. And by her tone this was something bad. Oh, he was doomed to be evil just like Tigerstar, he might as well just die now, how could even go on knowing that he was just going to kill everyone in sight without remorse.

"I will tell you once we reach the training clearing Leopardpaw. You are not set on being evil; you can be the best warrior this forest has ever seen. A good warrior. You will help your clan through many times." Silvercloud mewed sternly before padding away out the entrance and into the forest.
