Relaxing(Sparrow)

Griffonpaw had finished all his duties and decided to lay down for a well earned and much needed rest. He curled up in his nest, feeling a bit lonely and closed his eyes. He couldn't fall asleep, he couldn't get Cinderpaw out of his head.

Cinderpaw was alone in the medicine den she to was very lonely. She was used to having Griffonpaw right beside her she didn't even make an attempt to sleep.

Griffonpaw sat up in his nest. He definately wouldn't be able to sleep. He rose to his paws and walked over the soil den floor. He was out in the main camp, he looked at the Medicine Den, then looked around to make sure was looking at him. Seeing the coast was clear, he slunk into the den and saw Cinderpaw, he stood there.

Cinderpaw was a little scared until she saw it was Griffonpaw who was standing there. "what are you doing here?" she said quietly ushering him in.

"I couldn't sleep." Griffonpaw's ears lay against his head, his head hung low and his stubby tail drooping.

"I'm glad you came!" Sparrowflight exclaimed quietly "I was about to die from loneliness and boredom!" she said to Griffonpaw as she brushed pelts with him.

"Same here." Griffonpaw purred. He sat down, wanting Cinderpaw to do the same. "How are you feeling?"

"I'm actually pretty good." she said "you can stay here all night if you want Steamyeyes has an early morning patrol." Cinderpaw told him "i mean if you want to stay." she added.

"Of course I'll stay. I'm exhausted and I couldn't fall asleep in the Apprentice's Den." Griffonpaw smiled. "Will you lay with me?" he asked, beginning to lay down.

"I'd love to." Cinderpaw replied laying down next to Griffonpaw.

Griffonpaw began to groom Cinderpaw, getting rid of any burs or seeds stuck in her fur. "Thanks." he mewed happily.

"thank you." Cinderpaw said as she started to groom him back.

"It's alright. You look much better without this stuff in your fur." Griffonpaw purred in between licks.

"thank you." Cinderpaw said as she moved closer to Griffonpaw.

Griffonpaw finished Cinderpaw's fur. It shined in the dim light. "Wow." he muttured under his breath.

"I'm so glad we fell in love i thought you didn't love me back i was so sad but i was happy we were even friends." Cinderpaw informed him.

Griffonpaw stopped looking at Cinderpaw's glistening fur. "Honestly, I thought we were just going to be friends, but then...." He looked into her eyes, "I just fell in love with you."

"as did I" she said "but this is wonderful." she added then
she realized one day that means we will have to have kits and that means...

Griffonpaw layed his head on her shoulder "Yeah, I know. I don't want this night to end." the young tom sighed. I love this! I love her! What could go wrong?

Owlkit padded out of the nursery, waltzing with great coordination for once. But suddenly, he lurched forward collapsing top of Griffonpaw's head. "AH! MY PAW MY HEAD OW!"

Griffonpaw jumped up, skaking Owlkit off. "Watch it!" he growled, his happy moment lost.

Cinderpaw laughed "Owlkit what are you doing out of the nursery?" she asked the little kit.

"Pfft! I'm almost six moons, I can take care of myself outside of the nursery." whined Owlkit, he was in fact already six moons, but did that idiot Redstar notice... No. Now back onto his leg injury. "OW OW OW OW! My foot... My foot. I stepped on a rock or a stick or a twoleg's toenail."

Griffonpaw growled. "Let me see your foot you little..." he cut himself off, just barely. He glared enviously at the young kit, could anyone get peace around here?

"oh that is a quick fix." Cinderpaw said "hold him down. i don't want him to flinch and hurt himself more." then Cinderpaw used her teeth to get a small thorn out of the little kits foot. "there all better. now go back to bed you crazy kit!"
