"No problem, next time we'll wait until it's New-leaf. It'll be much warmer then." Rainpaw suggested between her brisk licks on Runningkit's cold pelt. It was nearly dry.

"Is new-leaf warm? I've never seen it... I hear that all of the plants turn all green and stuff, and that we can eat so many fish that our bellies drag against the ground." Runningkit had dried off now, much warmer than he was before, he got up and shook his fur, fluffifying it.

[Goldenstorm]

"Yeah, the fish are good now, but their much better in New-Leaf. They're as fat as an old elder." Rainpaw joked, rising to her paws. She went to the river and picked out a fish, easily. "Here, take this." she handed him the fish. "We can't come back empty-handed." she went back to the river and grabbed yet another fish.

[Mosspaw]

"Wow, you're good at fishing!" Runningkit exclaimed, seeing Rainpaw fling the second one out, he was really excited. He took the fish that Rainpaw had given him, of which kept slipping out when he tried to pick it up, so he bit hard into it's tail, now he had a grip on it. "erts go!" He tried to speak through the slime of the fish, but then stayed quiet. He hobbled in the direction of the camp, weighted by the fish, also off balance, but he was trying his hardest to handle it.

Rainpaw picked up her fish, she kept it tightly in her jaws. She pushed up against Runningkit to keep him from falling. "Here, 'ell ged dere 'asder i' I helb you." she mumbled, keeping her grip on her fish.

*sigh* ok. Rainpaw said. "Here, we'll get there faster if I help you."

[Mosspaw]

"Kay" Runningkit mumbled through his fish, not really getting what Rainpaw meant by 'help' him, he wasn't sure how she could help him if she was also carrying a fish, but he just dropped his, then got a spot further in to the tail, now he had a grip. His head was drooped, from the weight of the fish, but he could do it himself, he wanted to look cool to the other kits, HE had a fish and HE got to carry it back to camp.

Rainpaw saw the camp looming ahead. "Almost there." she mumbled through the fish, her words surprisingly clear though there was something jamming her tongue.

Runningkit tried to pick up speed, but he couldnt, the fish was as big as he was, which wasn't saying much. He approached the entrance, and tried to act less tired.

Rainpaw looked down at the kit, who looked tired, but his eyes shone. "Head up." she smiled, once again through her fish.

[Mosspaw]

Runningkit pulled his neck up, it was sore, he had just went swimming for the first time, and now he was carrying this massive fish, when just before he was playing, and before that, he was out searching for moss. He had a nice, full day for a kit, and now he wanted to take a nap. They were reaching the entrance now, and Runningkit could smell a completely different smell now, but it was so familiar. He took a deep whiff, mostly smelling like fish, but this scent felt so strange in his nose. He looked up, seeing that he was now at camp, he recognized the scent. "I've nerer durn dis brfur, da ent is so weerd."

OOC:TRANSLATION: I've never done this before, the scent is so weird.

"ull et oose do id." Rainpaw muttured back, craning her neck to see if there was anyone in the entrance. They wouldn't like to see that she took a kit out to go fishing, let alone get one of his whiskers wet from the river's icy cold waters.

"Ool o rst" Runningkit said through the mouthful of fish. He poked his head around the corner, not really knowing why Rainpaw did, but he didn't care much. He stepped into the clearing, smelling many familiar scents around him, but he didn't see many cats. It was getting dark out, he thought the other kits might be worried about him. He lifted his head, and stepped into the clearing. Then he got a little worried, a warrior might find them and question them, so he turned back to see if Rainpaw was still following.

Rainpaw followed the brave little kit, then she let out a yowl. She wanted every kit, elder, warrior, and queen to know that Runningkit had successfully come back from hunting, as a kit.

[Mosspaw]

Runningkit looked back at the apprentice, wondering why she had made a yowl. He looked around, there was a strange scent in the air now, as if all cats in the clan had woken up now, just because Rainpaw yowled out. Runningkit looked anxiously around the clearing, expecting all cats to come out, and be angry at mainly Rainpaw for letting him be out so late, even when he was only a kit.

[Goldenstorm]

Rainpaw put a great smile upon her maw. "Watch this." she hopped onto a log that was in the clearing, she let out a even great yowl into the air, soon the clearing was filled with it.
