"No Deathstrike!" Shadowstar shouted. "I don't want you making false promises and deals with them. They are speaking the truth and we all believe you aren't!" He dug his claws into the damp earth. "Get back here now." He mewed ina calm tone, as blood pulsed through his veins.

[Wolvine]

Deathstrike smiled. "Your afraid of words then. If you are so certain that you have won, why not just come and hear me out?" He turned to Shadowstar. "No lies. No threats. Just the truth. I wish to speak to them."

Shadowstar nodded, padding towards Deathstrike. He still didn't trust this tom. She did sheath his claws. But his teeth were still there.

[Wolvine]

"Shadowstar, I belive I siad I wish to speak to thm in private?" Deathstrike meowed, feeling slightly eerked.

OOC: You are.

"You also said come and hear me out, that is what I wish to do." Shadowstar hissed.

[Wolvine]

"I said let them hear me out."

[Naruto]

Naruto still didn't move, only taking a short breath. Should she go over...? It was probably a lie, a trick. Just so he could kill her. She cringed. Deathstrike wouldn't be like this if she hadn't left. But... She looked at Sasuke. It was worth it. Sasuke, the cat she'd liked since kithood, maybe even loved, was going to be the father of her kits. She'd seen many more things and learned a lot more than she could have if she'd stayed.

She took a hesitant step forwards. "If I can do nothing more for you.... Can I, at least, trust you this one last time?" she murmured quietly, her eyes questioning as she searched Deathstrike's face. Her gaze flitted to Shadowstar as he padded over to the tabby tom, and she stopped in her tracks. His leader would surely take his side of things. If it turned into a fight... Then it would be a whole Clan against Sasuke, Itachi, and herself. She couldn't count on Ebonybreeze joining them. After all, Naruto had betrayed both of her sisters when she'd left to follow Sasuke. The only reason Ebonybreeze had brought them was to prove her theory right.

"You said 'why not come hear me out,' not 'let them hear me out.' Pick your words more carefully Deathstrike." Shadowstar mewed sick of all Deathstrikes lies and trickery.

[Wolvine]

"I was talking to her." H elooked past Shadowstar and steight at Naruto. "Well I could hardly touch you with a clearing filled with cats could I?" He murmmered.

[Cheesles]

"Deathstrike I said no," Shadowstar ordered.

[Naruto]

Naruto took another step forward. She knew she was destroying the whole purpose of their mission. But curiosity at what Deathstrike had to say was drawing her forward.

[Wolvine]

"You said very well Shadowstar. Why do you not allow me to simply speak?" Deathstirke hissed. "I thought you were ment to be the 'fair and kind leader of Riverclan.' That you never went back on your word. WHere is all that fairness now? Where is all the honesty? How can you trust them more than me?"

[Cheesles]

"Because the are also Riverclan cats, well they were. And I said very well because I thought you were going to talk to me. You'll strike deals and false promises. I'm not fearless, just protecting my clan." Shadowstar mewed.

[Wolvine]

"Shadowstar. When have words ever hurt anyone?"

[Naruto]

Naruto bristled. "We are not RiverClan cats. And we never will be." she muttered, glaring at Shadowstar. She knew she and Sasuke had never truely fit in with these bunch of idiotic warriors.

[Wolvine]

Deathstrike pushes past Shadowsatr and came towards Naruto. "For your own safetly I suggest you leave now." He hissed to her quietly, so that nobody else could hear. "If I'm thrown out of Riverclan I won't be restricted to the territoy anymore. I will be able to come after you... ANd your future kits."

[Naruto]

Naruto's eyes widened, and she flattened her ears. He knew? "Why are you telling me this? I thought you hated me. That you wanted to kill me." she mewed back, trying to put as much anger in her voice as she could. All that came out was a disbelieving squeak.

[Wolvine]

"Deathstirke gave a chuckle. "As I said before, I couldn't lay a claw on you know." He looked at her expression. "Its hardly inevitable I noticed. Your as fat as a whale."

[Naruto]

She growled. "Enough with the fat jokes already," she muttered, turning her head away for a moment, Looking back at Deathstrike, she said, "Not that. Why give me warning, when you could just easily kill me for wandering into your territory?"

"Enough Deathstrike, since when have cats been able to talk to their leader like that?" She gazed to her sister, concern on her face. She loved her sister, her only kin left, and if anything happened to her, or her kits, she would go nuts. "Leave her alone Deathstrike and come out with it. I think everyone needs to know your dark and horrid secrets." Ebonybreeze shuffled closer to her sibling, and gave a look of touch-her-and-I-break-your-bones.

Naruto flashed Ebonybreeze a grateful look before looking at Deathstrike again. "As much as I'd like to take up your offer..." she began, her voice a low mew. "I'm afraid I'm not the sort to turn tail and run." She tipped her head to the side. "And... I couldn't leave a killer in the Clan my sister's in."

"Ebonybreeze, do you know anything, for I would be grateful for the truth." Shadowstar mewed looking at Ebonybreeze. "Naruto, and Sasuke, when Ebonybreeze has finished, I wish to speak with you in my den. If you are no immediate hurry to leave.

Sasuke twitched his tail. "Oh, no. We aren't in any hurry."
