Batfur ambled out from wherever he was at the sound of argument. He yawned widely, suggesting he'd been napping. "ThunderClan wouldn't steal." he mewed, golden eyes dull. He knew he'd never agree that ThunderClan weren't prey-stealers if he hadn't met Leafglaze. He knew they were falling on hard times... But ThunderClan? Stealing prey from RiverClan? "What reason have they got for stealing? And they're smarter than to leave half-eaten prey on the border."

The black tom didn't bat an eye. He almost flinched when the new warrior asked what he was hiding, but managed to keep his cool. "ThunderClan do not steal," he meowed cooly. "I know this for fact." He twitched one ear. "I'm hiding nothing. I am only stating what I know."

"How am I not telling the full story?" Batfur demanded, glaring at the tabby. He forced himself to relax, but that didn't make his fur stop bristling. He wanted to slap Deathstrike's smile right off his face... Claws unsheathed.

So what if he's a Clanmate? All he is is a bag of bones held together with crowfood scraps. He knows nothing about me, about anything! He thought angrily, narrowing his eyes. Then he froze as a thought hit him; What if Deathstrike knew? Knew about Leafpaw? His heart sank. Oh no... Will I be exiled on top of everything else?!

"Deathstrike and Batfur calm down!" Shadowstar ordered. He leapt down from his den and padded over to Ebonybreeze, nodding thankfully. "Deathstrike," He began, swerving in his direction, "What right do you have, to accuse Batfur of anything. And why do you question his loyalty? You say he has something to hide, but how can we trust you? I am not questioning anyones loyalty." He mewed, glaring sternly at the tom.

Shadowstar padded towards Batfur. "You seem ruffled up, are you hiding something?" He mewed questioningly. "I do not question any cats loyalty," He repeated to the whole clan, "I just wish to know what the truth is..."

OOC: Wait, WHAT!? XD Shadowstar asked what right Deathstrike had to question Batfur's loyalty, and then asked him himself!? First of all that defeats the purpose of telling Deathstrike not to. AND WHAT RIGHT DOES HE HAVE! XD

Batfur hissed. "I am hiding nothing!" he insisted, trying to make his voice sincere. "I just do not wish to fight an idiotic war over prey that wasn't stolen when we have to travel with ThunderClan in only a few days!"

"Calm down Batfur," Shadowstar mewed preoccupiedly. (dun even know if thats a word XD) Batfurs words sunk into his fur. "Batfur, that is very true," He mewed thinking. "We have to travel with all the clans in the next few days, so there is no use in fighting them, it'll be a bad start to a long journey. I'll ask Silverstar about it when we meet." Shadowstar mewed flicking his tail dismissively.

A thin figure peered out of one of the nearby trees into the Riverclan camp. The silver tom's fur was plastered to his body from the rain. The tom opened his maw, making his dull voice boom. "Shadowstar. Before you allow your clan to be dismissed, why not hear some of your old clan mates out?" The tom leaped out of the tree, landing only a few tail-lengths from the Riverclan leader, Deathstrike, and Batfur. "It seems that there are many people holding secrets in the clan, even dark secrets." The silver tom slitted his eye and glared at Deathstrike. "Dark secrets that make you blame those whom haven't even been around since they were kits..." The tom lashed his tail, spraying water everywhere. It was Sasuke, or Foxkit to some.

Ebonybreeze padded up beside Sasuke, her courage building up. The Clan, every single cat in it, needed to know the truth. "What Foxkit says is the truth." Ebonybreeze turned her eyes towards Deathstrike, "Some cats haven't been telling the truth." her eyes glaring directly at the killer.

A silver she-cat leaped down beside Sasuke, her leaf-green eyes flashing with anger. She said nothing, letting the cats around her guess who she was simply by the flash of red on her chest. It was Naruto, or Robinkit. The she-cat who'd left the Clan to follow Sasuke many, many moons ago. "It seems honesty has completely run out in this Clan," she mewed icily.
