Hunting 4 Clan (Open to the peorons)

[Wolvine]

Silverfang lifted his head and scented the air. He caught the unmistakable scent of rabbit. "Its seems I spend my life killing bunnies." He sighed, then shot off in the direction of the scent. He emereged again with a rabbit dangling in his jaws. He dropped it and burried it.

[Naruto]

Flowerpetal leaped into a gorse bush,emerging a moment later with a mouse. "I can't hunt rabbits well,"she admitted.

[Wolvine]

"Its alright." He sniffed the air again and ran back to the bushes. He came back out and burried his second rabbit. "There are enough here for all of us tyo make up for it."

[Naruto]

Flowerpetal stiffened. "Water vole.."she murmured,stalking off to find the speedy animals.

[Raintalon]

Firenose sniffed the air, catching the familiar scent of heather and some thing else. Sniffing more carefully, he discovered a rabbit scent. Peering through the heather, he spotted a plump brown one nibbling on something. Without a second to spare, he shot out of the bushes, chasing the rabbit with speed and finally making a final pounce to finish it. Picking the large piece of prey up, he trotted back over to the hunting patrol, and placed it next to Silverfang, with a hard, proud glare.

[Wolvine]

"Wow a rabbit." Silverfang looked down at the rabbit blandly. "What are tyou trying to prove Firenose?" He crouched and slowly moved forwards, then punced on a mouse that was nibbling a seed. He killed it quickly then looked up.

[Raintalon]

"Wow, a mouse. That'll hardly feed a kit." Firenose hissed, twitching his ears. "Im not trying to prove anything." He continued, "Just that your a mouse-brain."

Pantherfin raced up beside the group of WindClan cats, even though this would be the worst time of the season to bring a meal big enough for the queens and elders but it was still nice to go out until it got REALLY cold. "Hey, do you guys mind if I join this hunting party, more claws and paws, more chance of prey." the tOm asked. "We need the prey." he added.

[Wolvine]

"No its ok Pantherfin." Sighing, Silverfang looked at Firenose. "You should show more respect to prey. Its food, and Leaf-bare is coming soon."

[Naruto]

Flowerpetal walked back to the others,two voles swinging from her jaws. "The prey is coming out more today..."she murmured,kicking dirt over the still-warm bodies.

OOC: ... You guys took up all the hunting. QUIT POSTING SO MUCH!

Cougarstreak was away from the others, trying to see if she can find prey away from their talking, the ones who hadn't seen them coming. She moved silently and looked around the open field, not even the dent of a rabbit hole to be seen. Whatever prey that used to live here must have left and their holes filled in by the rain, that's what it seemed to be now. With a sigh, she walked back to the group.

"Well, guys I couldn't find a thi-," she cut herself off when she saw the prey the others caught. All scrawny. Figures. Everything was scrawny and scarce now. "Well, I guess you guys have caught everything in the territory."

[Naruto]

"Probably."Flowerpetal agreed,flicking one ear. "But the Clan will eat pretty well tonight,I think."

[Member]

"I doubt it," Courgarstreak said looking at the prey, "everything we've got is pretty thin." She poked one of the catches, feeling bone before a second went by. A nice catch, the average one from the days the rain was gone wouldn't be that thin. Soon enough the prey would be bones. "All the prey is smart for leaving, but their leaving is bringing us down."

"Wolfstar needs to take some action at the gathering, we really need the prey." he pointed out," Courgarstreak is right, thats about all we would get today."

Flowerpetal's eyes brightened. "Maybe the rain will let up soon?"

Courgarstreak looked over at Pantherfin. "But what could he possibly do at the Gathering? Tell everyone we have no prey, show them we're weak and let them storm us and steal our territory? More territory means more prey, so I wouldn't put it past them." She sighed. The times weren't good for WindClan, she anticipated a lot of cats leaving because of the lack of food. "Maybe, Flowerpetal, but even if it does it'll still take a while for the prey to come back and go back to their usual girth."

[Naruto]

"Your right. Maybe there's more prey by the ThunderClan border? They've always had the largest territory."Flowerpetal mewed.

[Wolvine]

"I don't think Wolfstar should say anything. It would show our weakness to Darkclan. We most deffinatly don't want another attack." Silverfang sniffed. "Yup thats it alright. nothing much left."

OOC- God all I said was 'take action' did I say he was going to say that we are starving no?

OOC: God, Jet, honestly. It was an example (one that was, a little sarcastic), Courgarsteak never said that he said Wolfstar would tell everyone. If you want to make that a point make Pantherfin point it out, because putting it in OOC and wasting bandwidth isn't going to do much.

"Probably, we could go near the ThunderClan territory. With all the rain, all the prey must be running over there for cover. It's probably a good bet, but none of the bushes or trees they have that the prey would take refuge in isn't close enough to the border where we can get to it without crossing lines." Cougarstreak nodded. "Yeah, we probably won't find any prey on this side of the territory for a while."

[Naruto]

Flowerpetal sighed,shaking her head. "You want to try somewhere else or go back to camp?"she asked wearily.

"I say we look somewhere else, catch one or two so we don't have them all killed, and then go back to camp." She looked around at the members of the group. "Agreed or disagreed?" It was up to them now.

[Raintalon]

Firenose snorted, "I want to see any clan TRY to take over windclan." Fluffing up his fur against the cold, he mewed to Cougarstreak, "As long as we get prey, ill go anywhere. We wont catch much by sitting around a meowing away."

"Agreed."Flowerpetal mewed,closing her amber colored eyes briefly.
