Boredom In Camp

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm lay in a shady spot cleared out of snow. He was bored and wished he knew where Vixenstep was. He let out a deep sigh and looked out on the territory.

[Naruto]

"Hey there, stranger."purred a warm voice. Vixenstep waved her tail in greeting from across the clearing and trotted over.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm looked up, remembering the soft mew and the sweet scent of Vixenstep. "Hey Vixenstep." he smiled, sitting up as he purred. He whisked his long tail around his paws and cleared a spot for the she-cat. The he wrapped his thin furry tail around his paws neatly.

[Naruto]

She purred and sat down beside the larger warrior, curling her own tail over her paws. "Had any success hunting lately?"

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm smiled, "Oh not much. Just a four rabbits and a mouse." he boasted, he went hunting out with Badgerclaw earlier that day. In truth, Badgerclaw caught three rabbits and a mouse, Goldenstorm only caught a single rabbit. But he was trying to impress Vixenstep, though he grew a bit nervous.

[Naruto]

"Wow! I only caught a shrew. You're a great hunter!"Vixenstep mewed, looking at him with admiration in her eyes. She purred, almost nervously. She could hear Birchpaw making fun of her already, but she really liked Goldenstorm.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm didn't look back at her "Er..thanks." he mewed nervously, hating the feeling of lying. "How are you doing?" he asked the pretty she-cat, able to catch her gaze.

[Naruto]

"Uh... Fine, I guess."Vixenstep mewed, feeling her fur grow hot. "A little hungry, but the whole Clan's starving." She licked her paw and cleaned her face, blinking rapidly.

[Goldenstorm]

"Relax. You know the weather's getting better. Prey's coming back, I'm sure one mouse wouldn't hurt the fresh-kill pile. I think everyone's been fed." Goldenstorm persuaded, though he himself hadn't eaten yet.

[Naruto]

"You sure? You look like you need it more,"she mewed worriedly, looking over at him.

[Goldenstorm]

"Na." Goldenstorm lied, smiling. "I'm fine. Go ahead, take your pick." he nodded to the freshkill pile.

[Naruto]

"Oh...OK, if you insist..." She got up and took a small mouse from the fresh-kill pile, taking it back to the tom. "You wanna share? I'm not that hungry."

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm was about to laugh. "Seriously Vixenstep, relax. I'm fine just eat your mouse." he insisted. He stared out into the territory, admiring it as he did the night of his ceremony. "I feel so different being a warrior." he whispered, almost to himself.

[Naruto]

Vixenstep smiled apologetically. "Er, OK." She crouched to eat and just barely heard his whispered comment. She swallowed. "I know,"she mewed quietly.

[Goldenstorm]

"It's like I have a whole other life. It's not just playtime and taking care of the elders. It's fighting in battles, and putting others before you. You don't really see your friends anymore." Goldenstorm couldn't take his eyes off the setting sun, it turned the sky blood red, as the moon took the sun's place the sky was a purple red swirl.

[Naruto]

Vixenstep looked up. "Yeah."she mewed, absent-mindedly pressing her fur against Goldenstorm's, like she used to do with Birchpaw when they were kits.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm turned his head to say something as his fur burned like fire, but instead of words, a steady purr rumbled through his throat. He pushed back, the two cats sharing their warmth. He looked at the pretty she-cat and saw her fur glowing radiently by the light of the sun. Wow

[Naruto]

Vixenstep looked up, her eyes shining brilliant amber. "Uh,"she murmured, blinking shyly as her fur blazed. A steady purr rumbled deep in her chest as she stared up at him.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm looked away, really embarrassed as he could feel his paw pads tingling with an exhilarating feeling, he just couldn't place a whisker on what it was. He looked back at the sun, the purple over powering the red blaze of the sun. He couldn't stop himself as he turned his head and licked Vixenstep on the cheek.

[Naruto]

She blinked again and returned the lick, purring loudly.

MUSE DEPLETING

[Goldenstorm]

a telemarketer blew my muse up. stoopid telemarketers...

Goldenstorm purred as loudly as he possibly could. His chest rumbled with vibration and he shut his eyes, it almost felt like a dream.

[Naruto]

"I never want to move,"she murmured, pressing closer to him.


GAH MY MUSE WAS SHOT

[Goldenstorm]

"Niether do I." Goldenstorm pushed against Vixenstep lightly, laying his head onto hers.


I hate these kinda posts, it soooooo HARD 4 meh!
