Moonkit sat just outside the entrance of the nursery. Starkit was leaping around beside him, batting at snowflakes. Stupid sister. How could she be so happy? Sunflower was dead; had been for a while now. He stood up and stalked away, ignoring his sister's call.

Mistpaw shook her way out of the apprentice den,eyes glazed with exhaustion. She sometimes dreaded her connection with StarClan,because it gave her many sleepless nights. Last night was the worst. She yawned,stretching. She saw Moonkit stalking away from his sister,who was calling him frantically.

"Moonkit? What's wrong?"the silver she-cat mewed,padding up to the orphaned tom. She'd been the same way when her mother and father had died;only her sister,Petalclaw,had kept her from falling deeper into depression. But now she was gone too.

She was still small enough to be a kit,and always had been. Her pelt was still fuzzy with kit-fur and unkempt from her restless sleep. But she shouldn't be thinking about that right now;nobody in ThunderClan had lived a charmed life now had they?

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

"Just...depressed. You know." he picked a small mouse and poked it with a claw. He turned to Mistpaw and shook his fur. "No mother, dunno who father is."
He nibbled at the mouse, frustrated with his mother, how she'd never told him or Starkit.

[Naruto]

"Yeah. I do."Mistpaw murmured,sitting down next to Moonkit. "But don't dwell on your grief. You can be sad but don't let it take over your life. You still have a wonderful sister that loves you." Her voice cracked slightly and she cleared her throat to hide it. She still wasn't over Petalclaw's untimely death.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Moonkit snorted. "All she does is play." he glanced back at Starkit, who was chasing a cricket, hopping when it hopped. "She'll never make a sensible warrior..." he muttered.
He pushed his unfinished mouse toward Mistpaw. "Want the rest?"

[Naruto]

"Sure. Thank."Mistpaw murmured,crouching to eat. She ate it in quick,neat bites and finishes rapidly,licking her lips. "That's what my mother told me would happen with Petalclaw....But she became one of the best warriors in the Clan."she mewed,turning to look at Moonkit.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Moonkit laid his head on his paws. "Yeah, well, Starkit's a different story."

"At least you still have family here,"Mistpaw mewed quietly.

OOC: Sunflower's dead? Oh noez! My former mentor died and I didn't took notice! Oh noez!

IC: Luckykit woke up from the noise in the nursery. She padded over to the others. "Hello Moonkit, hello Mistpaw.", she mewed. "Can you show me the hunter's crouch again, Mistpaw? I want to show it to Darkkit and Mudkit!"

[Naruto]

"Sure,Luckykit."Mistpaw murmured,padding a little bit away from Moonkit so she would pounce on him by accident. "First,you start off like this...."she mewed,crouching down. "You have to balance your weight evenly."

[Lynx]

Luckykit tryed to copy what the apprentice did and laid down, her belly to the ground, but her buttom slight up. "Like this?", she mewed. As she tryed to crouch forward she lost her balance and fell to her side. She hissed at her self and then tried again.

[Lillyflower]

OCC: What happend to Sunflower, she was like a Foster Mother to Lillyflower, and a Foster Grandmother to Honeykit?

[Naruto]

"Try focusing most of your weight into your haunches,and that way you aren't trying to do so many things at once."Mistpaw suggested,blinking.

[Lynx]

Luckykit tried to do as she was told and as she did she got her balance. "Look! Is it like this?", she mewed and jumped on Mistpaw's tail. "I got a long mouse!", she yowled. "I crouched on it and now I'll kill it!"

[Naruto]

"No! Don't kill my tail!"Mistpaw mewed,purring softly. "Yes,that was very good."

[Lynx]

"It was? Yay!", Luckykit squealed, then she tried to pounce on Mistpaw. She jumped and landed on her belly. "Gotcha! I am a big warrior, keep watch!"

Bluekit stepped out of the nursery, a glum lok on his face. Ah this day was just wonderful. His tail dragged on the ground as he started to walk towards the other kits and Mistpaw, who seemed to be doing some kind of activity. He wasn't too intune with what was going on at the moment, so he didn't give any thought to what was obviously going on before him.

"Bluekiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit!", Luckykit squealed and jumped to the other kit. "Mistpaw just taught me the hunter's crouch! Wanna see?"

[Lillyflower]

OCC: Why is noone answering me?.

[Naruto]

OOC:She drowned. I think. Idk. Haven't heard anything but that she's dead and she was supposed to drown.

Mistpaw purred quietly. She remembered being like Luckykit when she was just a tiny kit, back before her parents died.

Bluekit jumped back when Luckykit bounded to him. His fur stood on end, startled by her sudden appearence. He tilted his head at her question. Hunters crouch? What about it? Did he want to see it? Not really, he thought to himself.

"Sure," he said to his fellow denmate.

[Lynx]

Luckykit squealed. "Look you to lay down like this.", she mewed crouching down. "Then you need to watch for your balance. Then look at your target and kill it off!", show yowled and jumped again on Mistpaw's tail.

[Snigger]

Mudkit bounced out of the nursery and up to Luckykit. "Oh that looked cool, could you teach me?" he meowed is awe.

Silverkit's head poked through the entrance of the nursery. "What are you doing guys? I'm sooooo bored."
