"But soon, we will have one less apprentice..." Mosspaw looked up at goldenpaw. We should do it when we're all warriors, or at least you guys, it'll be a LONG time before I become a warrior.

Mintpaw thought for a second then replied, "Yeah there's that but would it matter really? I mean come on, he's not too much older so it wouldn't be too much of a problem." She tilted her head, awaiting an answer.

"but are you sure that Wolfstar would allow a warrior to fight some apprentices for no real reason? except that we were buddies when we were apprentices?" Mosspaw asked, "I know that Wolfstar is nice, but are you he would accept a fight between cats in the same clan?
You remember when the part of the code After the death or retirement of the deputy, the new deputy must be chosen before moonhigh? of course we wouldnt be killing eachother, but would Wolfstar think of it that way? I'd guess, but still...
I'd enjoy it, so we'll have to sneak it behind his back. Mossheart whispered. "It's easier to get out of trouble than to ask then permission THEN get out of trouble.

Mintpaw rolled her eyes meowing, "We tell him its battle training. It's like a little play fight, you know? Except a little more intense. And it's not like we'll have our claws unsheated."

Goldenpaw sighed. "You guys are kidding right? We don't need permission or to tell him. It's not like Silverfeather goes up to Wolfstar to tell him that she's going to be training Mintpaw. (I think it's Mintpaw.) We'll just go to the training clearing and have a competition. Best fighter, claws sheathed. Okay?"

OOC: Firenose is Minty's mentor and it's Silverfang that's Lionpaw's mentor. I don't know if Silverfeather has a prenty

Skimbleshanks looked over to the cat who sat beside him. "Mo-Morningflower.", he murmered. "H-How are you?", he flexed his claws in the frozen earth. He was just so nervous when she was around him.

Lionpaw went over to Mintpaw and gave her ears a gentle lick. "Wherever you go, I go, too.", he mewed and sat beside her. What if they all really made warriors today?

"You can tell me if you don't like me, I am used to it." She mewed as disappoinment flooded her. She looked away to mask it.

Mintpaw purred, "M'kay," and as a flurry-filled wind blew she snuggled up to him. Looking around she sighed, "Wolfstar needs to hurry, I think the ants are getting to us."

Silverfang walked out of the nurcery. He had been with Silverfeather, and had stayed after he had heared the call for a meeting, but had eventually emerged. Now he turned to look at Goldenpaw, Lionpaw and Vixenpaw. "Hey, shouldn't Mintpaw be given her warrior name as well?" He yowled. "Shes more than ready. Firenose may be a grumpy old fleabag but hes a good mentor." He had really enjoyed training Lionpaw and was sad that it had to end.

Goldenpaw stopped his conversation with the others as he saw Silverfang. "Yes, she should be. I know how many apprentices should be made warriors, it's a pity Wolfstar has neglected to do so. Wolfstar has a lot of catching up to do, why do you think he does that Silverfang?"

"I'm not so sure. Maybe old age is kicking in? Oh well, at least Smoketail is a good deputy. If Wolfstar doesn't do anything then Smoketail will always be there to back him up." Silverfang sat down and looked at Lionpaw. He would be a great warrior, even if he was a terrible mentor.

Lionpaw catched the gaze of his mentor and padded over to him. "Why do you look so sad? We can always hunt together! And one day I'll be given an apprentice and I will ask you for advise for you are such a great mentor to me.", he mewed, then looked over to Mintpaw. He lowered his voice. "I think I love her, Silverfang. I think I really do. Do you think she does, too?"

OOC: I dont know what happened to Macavity. In the topic we were about to take you to Wolfstar so you can join the clan. But then, nobody responded and Skimble got a mate eventually ^^

Dapplekit watched all the apprentices. She was pacing outside the nursery. I am six moons. She thought. Why can't I be an apprentice. Now that Silverfeathers kits were coming there was not going to be any room in the den. Her dappled coat fluffed out at the cold and she shivered when a breeze blowed over her.

Nightfeather sat staring at the entrance to the nursery. He had been at Crookedkits birth and that had been somewhat hard on him aswell as Creamfur. What would it be like to Silverfeather. And Silverfang. He padded over to Silverfang. "How is she?" He mewed under his breath to Silverfang so only he could hear and flicking his tail and the nursery.
