Silverpelt looked at Foxkit. She whispered to Wolfkit, "Don't tell her... I'll just leave her hanging." She sighed before looking over the kits. "Be good and DON'T leave here. If you feel worse, eat the herbs without complaint."

"Wait! You still didn't tell me!"Foxkit complained,before collapsing in a huge coughing fit.

Silverpelt quickly forced some of the herbs down Foxkit's throat, as gentle as she can without causing the kit to choke.

Silverpelt forced the kit to chew and swallow the juice. "There. I won't make you eat more herbs UNLESS you get worse." She looks over the other kits before padding out of the nursery.

Wolkit grummbled slightly then returned to his nest. The burning had stopped, that much was true but the coughing still countinued, even if it wasn't so bad.

Silverpelt looked up, grateful the snow had stopped for a while, and sighed. Her green eyes glistened slightly before she closed her eyes and looked like she was made of stone, her fur flat.

Slipkit shivered as heat swallowed his whole body. His tiny frame wriggled with convulsions. He was sick.

Silverpelt looked back into the nursery, another dose of herbs speared on her claw, and she slips it into Slipkit's mouth, careful not to choke him, before making sure he wouldn't reject the herbs and padded back out, already exhausted from the kits. She left the camp after a while.
