Clan Boredom

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Smallpaw stopped grooming long enough to look at the sky.
"Hmm... I wonder if Amberpaw and I can go hunting for a little..." Smallpaw mewed to herself. "I might as well go find her and see."
Smallpaw mewed as she got up from her spot.

[Amberstorm]

Amberpaw sighed as she flopped on her side. I need a mentor. She thought. How long is it gonna take? Her tail thrashed madly for a moment. "Grrr... I can't take having nothing to do... I get all fidgety!" Amberpaw whined to herself. Her ears twitched, and she sensed the pounding of paws near by. Getting too her paws and swiping her paw over her ear hurriedly, she saw the newest apprentice, Smallpaw, bounding toward her. "Hello, Smallpaw."

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"Hey, Amberpaw!" Smallpaw said as she skidded to a stop. "I was wondering if you wanted to go hunting with me..."
Smallpaw was anxious to get out of the clearing, and hunt for the clan.
"We could ask one of the clan leaders!" Smallpaw mewed.

[Amberstorm]

Amberpaw flicked her tail in agreement. "I'd love to, but we need mentors. And even if we asked one of the clan leaders, they would most likely say no because apprentices can't go anywhere without a warrior. But we can go try." she mewed. Somewhere inside, Amberpaw thought it wasn't a very good idea to ask the leader, whoever that may be, because both were fighting a war inside. She could feel it. However, she didn't share her suspitions with Smallpaw. Her paws itched to get their claws on some fresh-kill.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"Well we should at least try..." Smallpaw mewed. "Mabye another Warrior could come with us...."
Smallpaw got up and looked around for a Leader or Warrior.

[Flamestar]

Mountainstar saw the two apprentices talking, he walked up to them. "What are you guys talking about?" he asked.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"Oh! Mountainstar! Good timing!" Smallpaw mewed. "We were wondering if we could go out hunting..."
Smallpaw shuffled her paws, waiting for the leader to reply.

[Flamestar]

"If you can get a warrior to go out hunting you can. I am busy so I can't go out right now, sorry." he said.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Smallpaw dipped her head in respect, and went to look for a free Warrior.
She flicked her tail for Amberpaw to follow.

[Amberstorm]

Amberpaw's ears twitched. I knew it. I just know there's something wrong. Amberpaw thought. "Yes, Mountainstar." Because of Shadowstar's appearance, she didn't know if she could call Mountainstar Mountainstar. She had trusted this strong leader. Now somewhere deep inside, she felt utterly betrayed, but curious. Is there something more? Amberpaw thought, turning to Smallpaw. "Okay, I don't know who to take with us..."

Jadeclaw was crouched beside the fresh-kill pile, even though he wasn't hungry. What is Riverclan going to do about this? What is Starclan going to do about this? Mountainstar is the leader. But Shadowstar was never actually dead. He stood up. I need to be alone for a while. Jadeclaw turned to the camp entrance.

[Flamestar]

"Don't worry about Shadowstar, she will be dealt with. I have been approved by StarClan to be the actual leader, she is a traitor." he mewed with a tear in his eye as he watched them go away, he shook it off of him. He needed to be trusted, he needed to kick the traitor out of his clan which he swore to protect. She was faking to be dead. he thought. He ran to go confront the traitor.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"I don't know who to ask...." Smallpaw said with disapointment.
She look around the clearing. Jadeclaw left... The leaders are busy.... Who else is there? Smallpaw thought.

[ϟ ɅȻԐ ϟ]

Jadeclaw had stopped just outside the camp entrance, but out of sight from anybody inside the camp. He crouched next to a bush. I've got to think about what to do about this.

[Amberstorm]

Amberpaw watched Mountainstar curiously, thoughts running through her head rapidly. From how I understand clan life, Shadowstar was never dead. So how could Starclan have accepted him? But what if they havn't, and KMountainstar was a... Amberpaw shook the thought away. No. Mountainstar couldn't be a tyrant! Looking toward the entrance of the camp, Amberpaw noticed Jadeclaw leaving camp. "Hey, look, its Jadeclaw! Let's ask him if we can go with him. Hurry, or we won't catch up." mewed Amberpaw, nudging Smallpaw.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

[ooc: Jadeclaw just left..]

"Okay!" Smallpaw said as they hurried after Jadeclaw.
A little ways out, Smallpaw opened her mouth to taste the air.
"Hmm? He's surprizingly close.." Smallpaw mewed looking around.

Jadeclaw was too far into his thoughts to hear or scent the two apprentices. If Shadowstar doesn't become leader, she'll be a rogue. Or at least a loner. His tail went back and forth across the ground. I can't let that happen. She was leader when we moved from the Forest to this new home. But Mountainstar recieved his nine lives, which means Starclan approves of him being the leader...

[Amberstorm]

Amberpaw was lost in thought as she ran out of camp, Smallpaw next to her. She allowed Smallpaw to take the lead, as she was too busy thinking to concentrate on following Jadeclaw's scent. What a big mess! I wonder why or how Starclan accepted Mountainstar at all, with Shadowstar being alive and all. Unless Shadowstar was not fit to be leader, there was no other way. There's somthing more here, I know it! But it's like a lost scent. Like my mother's... No! What mother? She was no mother of mine to do that to me... Her train of thought was cut off as she bumbed into Smallpaw. "Hey, move you're tail, Smallpaw!" Amberpaw mewed humorously.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"Well sorry!" Smallpaw mewed. "You should stop thinking and start sniffing! Jadeclaw's nearby!" Smallpaw kept looking without waiting for a reply.
She was sniffing a bush when she saw Jadeclaw, deep in thought.
"Jadeclaw!" Smallpaw Squeeled.

[Amberstorm]

Hearing Smallpaw's scornful reply, the fire in her heart was rekindled. "Well, it's not my fault I have more thought pace than you!" Amberpaw mewed, suddenly scenting Jadeclaw. "Hello, Jadeclaw. Would you like to go hunting? We have nothing to do."

[Flamestar]

Mountainstar who would clean things up went looking for Jadeclaw. He walked outside and started sniffing. He found his scent right away being one of the best hunters in the clan and battlers he was great at sniffing things out. "Hello Jadeclaw." he mewed surprised to find himself with two apprentices.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

"Hi Mountainstar!" Smallpaw mewed cheerfully. "We were just asking Jadeclaw if he wanted to hunt with us!"

[Flamestar]

"Cool Smallpaw. Jadeclaw may I speak with you alone for a minute?" he asked.

Jadeclaw jumped at the sound of the two apprentices. "Oh thank Starclan, I thought you were..." His voice broke off as he saw Mountainstar. "Uh, hello, Mountainstar, I was about to go hunting with Amberpaw and Smallpaw." He dipped his head respectfully. "And yes." Jadeclaw padded away from the 2 apprentices and beckoned Mountainstar to follow. When they were out of earshot of Amberpaw and Smallpaw he stopped. "I'm guessing this is about Shadowstar?"
