Foxfur started jumping down the branches. For the first time in his life, he actually felt excited. I'm going where the clans have never gone before! About halfway down, Foxfur almost slipped on a branch, but he regained his footing and continued down. Then he leaped from the tree about 10 fox-lengths from the ground, landing with a grunt. Foxfur went to the very front of the group.

Cheetahstride heaved himself up, and followed the others, muttering crossly under his breath.

Hollowpaw waited till the others left, waiting fro Cloudpaw to start walking.

Cloudpaw mutterd curses to herself. Why was she chosen to go. I don't want to even be here! Two or three moons with a bunch of Mouse-brains.

Leopardstrike walked past Foxfur, with a growl of defiance. Stamping in front of him, not choosing to play follow the leader, to some pathetic RiverClan warrior. It would be so much better being led by him, and his brother Cheetahstride. At least that was what Hawkfrost told them.

Foxfur hissed under his breath and shoved Leaopardstrike out of the way so he was leading again. "It's better off not being led by a bird-brain." He growled.

Leopardstrike, the stronger and more well built tom, stepped out of the way of Foxfur, and walked steadily side by side with him, while he was still slightly ahead. "RiverClan scum..." he muttered under his breath, walking in front of the tom. With a look of superiority in his amber eyes.

Hollowpaw nodded to Cloudpaw, and followed, tripping and stumbling over rocks and branches. Following blindly, he used his only to guides for help, Cloudpaw, and his scent glands.

Cheetahstride snorted. "Will you two stop it already!" He hissed, lashing his tail irritably.

Foxfur shouldered his way past Leopardstrike and ignored Cheetahstride. His eyes were blazing. "Thunderclan fleabag. You fat morons can't do anything right. I'm a better leader right now than you'll ever be." He unsheathed his claws.

"Lead us then, oh great RiverClan warrior, guide us with your magnificent sense of direction and extraordinary fighting skills." Leopardstrike meowed backing up to walk beside his half brother, rolling his eyes at the RiverClan warrior. Foxfur... Was there anyone in this journey that he could be friends with besides his gloomy half-brother? Well, there was that pretty RiverClan she-cat...

Foxfur growled, knowing the Thunderclan warrior was mocking him. But he was slightly happy, because he PWNED Leopardstrike. He kept stalking toward the star, which seemed so far away. Then Foxfur noticed he was heading into Riverclan territory anyway. Just another reason why I should be leader.

While Leopardstrike and Foxfur were fighting, Yarrowthron crept past them quickly to be in the lead. He wasn't looking to pick a fight, but felt that it would be mildly funny for the other cats to watch. He kept his head and tail down as he padded through the grass and over rocks, following the beautiful star.

Foxfur made some kind of strange noise when he noticed Yarowthorn in the lead. It was a cross between an amused mew and an angry growl. Foxfur sped up until he was about a mouse-length ahead of Tarrowthorn. Why can't they accept me as the leader? This is my territory, after all. Foxfur flashed a look behind him, wondering if Irisglade would try to become leader just annoy him.

Youth these days aren't even good enough to be called mouse-brains. Dewshine thought. The two cats ahead, Leopardstrike and Foxfur were fighting over who would lead. Thankfully the ThunderClan cat stopped it all by falling back, but the RiverClan cat seemed to keep putting up the leader role even when the first cat sneaked ahead. Leopardstrike seemed to be the smarter one out of the two.

Dewshine trotted next to the two DarkClan cats. She didn't want to be in the back by herself, and she didn't want to be near the front.

Yarrow hissed sharply as the stubborn RiverClan cat came up behind him. He almost swore at him, but held his tongue and kept his head down, keeping pace to be right alongside the feather-brained Foxfur.

It's no use getting angry...but I hate it when they think they're better than everyone else. Yarrowthorn sighed. Sampling the air, he realised that it was Riverclan ground. So what? They weren't exactly gonna stay there!

Irisglade hurried after the group, eyes fixed on the bright stafr illuminating the sky. The she-cat sighed as the two toms began to argue, and was suddenly worried if a fight would start. Stepping between the two cats she flicked her tail in their broad faces before mewing smugly. "I'll lead if you two can't handle it." Irisglade padded in front of Foxfur and Leoparstrike. "Well? You coming?"

Foxfur cuffed Irisglade on the ear. "I'll lead, just like I almost always have." He quickened his pace until he was in the lead again. "Senior warriors lead, not inexperinced furballs."

Wildmist was the last, all this cats annoyed her alot, they were all stupid furballs seeking power, "stop being mouse-brained, stop fighting and decide quickly, we are lossing time with your nonsense quarrel so stop and keep walking" she mewed crossly as she passed them and went to the front, not wanting to lead them only to , at least make them have a quicker pace

Leopardstrike eyes gawked staring as Irisglade padded in front of him, though he didn't really care now, he would though if it was someone like the ignorant Cloudpaw, but this beautiful she-cat was something else. Until Foxfur came and hit her, then he was snapped out of his daydreaming, and instinctively stretched his claws. It would be a long while before he sheathed them. With so many hostile faces in this crowd. "You don't have to act rude Foxfur, you're the only one of us capable to be leader, we are all mouse-brains compared to you."

Irisglade laughed at Foxfur's cuff and ducked away from it. Everyone was so grumpy here ...
She flicked her ears back, hearing the slide of Leoparstrike's claws. Why should he? She could take after herself. Following the group. She mewed under her breath. "One day, you won't be in the lead."
