Meeting Mom

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm trotted through the heather field calmly, stumbling here and then. His belly was covered in white cob webs, and but he couldn't feel the pain surging through his fur. He was oblivious to it, he just concentrated on the hope and excitement his mind kept clawing through him. He smiled, he looked back to see where Vixenstep was. She was supposed to be with him.

Vixenstep hobbled after Goldenstorm, tortoiseshell pelt gleaming with good health. "Are we almost there?" she asked, waving her tail high in the air.

[Goldenstorm]

"Just at the end of the territory." Goldenstorm reassured, waving his long tail over to the large boulder that marked the end of their territory. He smiled, eager to continue their journey and finally get answers, not more scars.

Myth steeped out from behind a bush. "So you came," She mewed half heartedly.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenstorm couldn't help but smile, "Of course I came." he mewed, "Did you think I'd just let this slide?" he pointed his nose to his belly, kidding.

"So, your really my son?" Myth mewed with a hint of sorrow at the thought she had nearly killed her son.

Goldenstorm smile was lost, all seriousness had fallen in. "That's what I'm told. Is that tom really my father?" he asked, hoping for a no.

Slightly taken aback that Goldenstorm seemed to not like Cody. (there you go mems BD) "Yes he is." Myth mewed hesitantly.

Vixenstep remained silent the whole time, allowing Goldenstorm to talk to his mother unhindered.

Goldenstorm closed his eyes very briefly, then nodded his head, opening his heathery eyes. "I can't say I'm happy you did it, but I can't say I regret being a warrior." he meowed, looking at his mother.
