Whisperkit liked the gentle touch of the newcomer's tail, liked how soothing it is. His belly grumbled in protest as he desperately searched for whoever it was. A small pur escaped his tiny maw, soft and gentle. He felt his sister move away from nursing and he took the chance to get something to eat. Belly now full, the rythmic pattern of the tail on his back eventually soothed him to a dreamless sleep ...

Dreamkit slunked off a bit at Sandface's touch. She mewed some more, before wobbling back over her brothers and sisters. Her thin tail as still as a peice of fresh-kill.

Leopardpaw was only just now getting up, tired and bored. He had to remember last time, to never take on two apprentices that were much bigger than him, it was like trying to fight a dog and having no claws. He rolled out of his moss nest, and stood on unsteady legs looking around, he couldn't tell who the people are, but there were three small, furry things... Kits, yes kits...KITS! "What happened?"

Dreamkit looked over towards a new voice. She let out a shrill mew, for she didn't know whether this new voice was friendly or not. D-d-d-d-don't eat m-m-m-me.. Rang through her head.

Whisperkit was aroused from her slumber by a harsher voice; male. The grey tom was not used to male voices, having heard only one for a brief amount of time. He shrunk back against his mother, terrified as to what this voice may do to him if he left the safety of Sunflower.

Opening his swollen eye only a little still hurt, he had to get healed fast so he could get back to training, but he could barely walk, both of his hind legs still stung with bite and claw marks. But these FOUR kits, who were they... Calling back on his broken memories from when he was awake and passed out, he could only picture fragments of Sunflower yowling, and two cats bigger than him clawing at him and blood flying, with his own teeth ripping into their flesh... Then Rainpaw flashed into his mind. "Where's Rainpaw!?"

Sunflower lick Sandface's head. "I bet your kits will be just as beautiful," she purred. She heard Whisperkit's tiny cry. She picked the small kit up and rested him between her front paws next to his new brother. She groomed them both.

Dreamkit backed up into Fawnkit, mewling in surprize. She pulled herself away, still mewling frightenly. She mewled for her mother, already forgetting where she was.

Sunflower lickedDream kit and stroked her with her tail as Sandface had done. She almost didn't hear Leopardpaw's exclamation over they kits' crying.
Great StarClan, she thought. I cannot do this. She sighed and comforted her kits.
Sunflower looked up at Leopardpaw. "Wasn;t she in here, the last we saw of her?" worry filled her voice.

"She was. I told here to stay here. If she didn't Im going to be really mad. I'll be right back." Moonpaw left the medicine den, and headed straight for the apprentices den. "Rainpaw?" she called.

Sandface purred. "I hope so,I'll bet they'll be beautiful considering Moonfur is there father."

"Kits... What are their names... And what happened?" still in the dark and in a daze, with a headache that made him wish he was still asleep, but at least he knew he had succeeded in saving the kits and Sunflower, though how he did it he had no idea.

"I didn't see him. I hope he's okay." Getting to the den just in time, she heard Leopardpaw ask his questions. "Rest, lay down and rest your head on your paws." She walked in and sat next to leopardpaw.

"While you were unconscious out in the forest, Sunflower gave birth to her kits, then a rogue attacked her. Silvercloud and Moonfur helped me get you, Lillykit, sunflower, and her kits back to camp.

"Rest, now. I'm sure you must be tired still. If you want I could give you some poppy seeds."

"Okay!" she called back padding towards the pile of herbs. As she picked up the herbs she went over their smell, carefull to do her best to make it to where she could remember easily. [/i]Marigold has a bitter yet flowerey smell, even though it was just the leaves. Chervil has a tangy bitter smell[/i]

Sitting down next to leopardpaw che began chewing the chervil and marigold into a poultice. She spit it out onto a leave covered her paws in it, and carefully rubbed it on his eye. "This will make it all better," she murmured.

Sandface purred even louder. "I can't wait! They're going to be wonderful considering who there father is."

Moonpaw watched in jealousy. She wanted to be a warrior and a medicine cat, but she chose medicine cat. She always wanted a mate, and always wanted kits. That would never happen, though. "I'm so happy for you!" she meowed trying to hide her jealousy.

Whisperkit mewed softly again as his omther bathed him, feeling the warnmth of his brother beside him. It comforted him slightly with the fact that his moher would rpotect him no matter what happened.
