Leopardpaw's Assesment [Leopardpaw ONLY]
Silverstar led Leopardpaw out of camp, giving him free reign of the forest. "Go wherever you please. You know what to do. I expect you back in a bit Do your best ... I will be watching."

Re: Leopardpaw's Assesment [Leopardpaw ONLY]
Hunting was a natural thing for Leopardpaw, stalking the forest in the afternoon, Leopardpaw raised his head to scent the air... Mouse. Instantly he dropped into the hunter's crouch, step by step, crawling under a bush where he found the mouse tucked under a rock where it's den must have been. Leopardpaw broke cover in a second skirting the rock close enough to scare the mouse, away and once it got from beneath the rock he pounced, killing it before it could even make a sound, He dropped the mouse and buried it quickly before disappearing back into the undergrowth. One Mouse.
Leopardpaw scurried up a tree, sunning in one of the branches while his spotted golden pelt hid him with the bark on the trees and the sunlight. It was only seconds before the first squirrel came into view, chattering wildly while exiting it's home in a hole in the tree. Leopardpaw instantly jumped shaking the leaves and scaring the squirrel into the trees, he unsheathed his claws and dug into the hole in the tree trying to grab onto the squirrel but it seemed to have just disappeared. His first lost catch. One Mouse.
Now crawling into a dusty clearing he closed his eyes and rested his tail, relaxing for a second so that he looked like he was asleep. His feint worked, a more adventurous vole dashed out from the foliage, and Leopardpaw instantly sprung up, over turning the vole with a flick of his wrist and then finishing it off with a single blow. Burying it with the nearby mouse. He smiled, he was doing pretty well, but if he wanted to succeed in this test he would have to try harder. One Mouse, One Vole.
Now he was under the roots of the tree waiting for a juicy morsel to scurry by. And after a while he got his chance, a mouse was just now hiding under a bush collecting seeds, Leopardpaw rushed out from under the tree startling the mouse, but he was faster than the fat furry creature. It was dead with a faint squeak. Two Mice, One Vole.
Leopardpaw unsheathed his claws as he saw a squirrel looking around as if it had found him, but it hadn't. He bounced from under a bush scaring into running towards it's tree home. But Leopardpaw bounded toward it scampering over bushes and logs and finally, killing it quickly before it could race up to a tree. Two Mice, One Squirrel, One Vole.
By now the prey was preparing to go back to their den. Leopardpaw crawled as lightly as possible creeping it on a mouse, this would be his third and probably his last kill of the day. If only he hadn't started so late, He pounced when there was only a few tail lengths between the mouse, and landed on it, jabbing it with his claws. Dead. Exhausted but joyful he padded back to the hole where he was keeping his prey he proudly, buried it with the rest of his catch. Three Mice, One Squirrel, One Vole.

Re: Leopardpaw's Assesment [Leopardpaw ONLY]
Silverstar watched her apprentice with pride. Everything he had learned was taught by her. As Leopardpaw raced through the forest Silverstar was always close behind, being sure she could not be seen or scented through the undergrowth. His first catch was a success, his claws grasping and killing the mouse with little debris or sound. The silver she-cat scented the next peice of prey before the leopard-like apprentice did; seeing as he lost his catch with the rustle of the leaves. Her dissapointed caught in her mouth but was quickly replaced as he attacked a plump little vole, using a mastered technique.
The next mouse was caught not quite as well as the first, it creating a small squeak that would scare off multiple mice in the area ... no matter how little the sound was. Silverstar willed the tom ahead, hoping that his next catch would be a big one worth a cheer.
The silver she-cat was not dissapointed; a quick pounce and a lightning fast sprint led to a juicy squirrel hanging limp from his jaws. She held back a triumphant mew as to not distract him and give away her prescence. Following him with quick fottsteps, Silverstar watched his last catch; a nice little mouse that was caught quite strategically.
Revealing herself from the growth Silverstar mewed; pride filling her voice. "Grab your prey. I believe it is time to arrange a ceremony back at camp."

Re: Leopardpaw's Assesment [Leopardpaw ONLY]
Leopardpaw followed his mentor his eyes beaming with sheer joy. Now the memories and worry he had felt about the past few moons had evaporated, he just couldn't wait to become a warrior. His excitement was also clouded with wonder, what was his warrior name going to be? He hoped it was something that matched his bravery in the heat of battle, or his adventurous attitude. Anything but his lack of brains.
