Hunting and exploring

[Lynx]

Blazesong pooped. ^^
Blazesong waited for her apprentice. "What do you smell?", she mewed.

[Snigger]

Soulpaw padded up to her mentor and sniffed the air. She replied, "Rain, mud, ThunderClan, and. . ." She paused to taste the air to make sure. "Maybe a bit of mouse," she finally finished, it was hard to scent anything past the rain and mud. The scent was overwhelming.

[Lynx]

Blazesong sniffed the air, too. Her apprentice was right, there was a bit of mouse scent in the air. "Do you think you can track the mouse?", she mewed.

[Snigger]

Soulpaw shook her head and explained, "The scent's too faint and more rain is falling by the second. She shuffled her paws and looked down in a bout of shame. That was probably one less meal for someone in ThunderClan.

[Lynx]

"Good!", Blazesong mewed. "It was a wise decission. By the time you would try to follow this faint scent you could have hunted prey somewhere else." She turned and padded forward through the rain and the forest in search for another prey-scent.

[Snigger]

Soulpaw beamed from the praise. She followed Blazesong and sniffed for prey, mimiking her. She couldn't find another prey scent past the other smells. "I can't smell any prey," she said tinged with sadness.

[Lynx]

"Me neither.", Blazesong admitted. They had walked a long way and were now nearly at the border. "Let's head back to camp along the Windclan border. Maybe we'll find something there."

[Snigger]

"Alright," she replied and followed her mentor as they walked through the territory. She kept sniffing for any signs of prey, but the faint mouse was the only prey she had smelled since their trip.

[Lynx]

ic: They had padded long and were now at the Windclan border as Blazesong heard a rustle. She mentioned with her tail for Soulpaw to be quiet. "A rabbit.", she whispered. "It must have come from Windclan into our territory. Do you want try to catch it or shall I show you?"
