Exploring the territory

Liontail padded through the rain out of the camp. There he waited for Vixenstep and Celestialpaw to arrive. Beside him stood Coalpaw his new apprentice. "Well.", he mewed to him, while still looking to the camp. "What do you expect of your apprenticeship?", he asked the little tom.

Vixenstep padded after her friend, smiling. She was so excited! For one, her brother'd just been made a warrior, Birchfoot. And now she had her own apprentice! She felt like yowling in excitement.

"Deafness," he muttered, still cross about how Liontail had yowled at him. He wanted the training for today over with now, or, better yet, all of it! He didn't want to be an elder before he got out because someone blew out his hearing.

[Lynx]

OOC: Lol, i didn't knew coalpaw was near me. i thought he was somewhere in camp.

IC: Liontail nodded to her fellow warrior, not realizing Coalpaw had sad something at all. "Well then, let's get going before we transform ourselves to soaked moss.", he mewed.

Celestialpaw padded on beside Vixenstep, brain going a million miles an hour as she took in everything there was to take in. She picked up the little things most cats wouldn't notice; the regularity of the veins on the leaves, slightly different from camp, the way the grass roots buged slightly as the wind tore at the stems, and even the slight scent of herbs a while off. If it weren't for the rain, her mind would have had too much things to handle at once.

The she-cat stared up at Liontail, pelt drenched in the fresh rain. Why did it continue to plague them? They certainly didn't need it to replenish herb sources, those were all drowned in the stuff. They didn't need it for anything. With a slight and brisk nod, Celetialpaw silently agreed with Liontail.

[Naruto]

Vixenstep nodded. "I agree. So, should we head for the ThunderClan border first? It's the closest. In fact you can smell it from here." Yes, it was there. But just barely. The rain-laden wind carried the faintest scent.

[Lynx]

"It's very faint because of the rain. These two don't know yet how Thunderclan smells, but they will learn soon enough. So, yeah, let's head there first.", he mewed and started walking toward the Thunderclan border. How was he supposed to teach his apprentice how to sniff prey and how to detect the other clans if the rain is constantly washing over the scents? He scented the air for prey. Nothing. Not like that was something special. Since the permanent rain prey mostly hid itself in its dens so it was hard to detect it. He looked over his shoulder to Coalpaw and Celestialpaw. I bet this will be a really hard apprenticeship for them. With these conditions, at last., he thought.

With a sigh, Coalkit followed after his mentor, falling in step with Celestialpaw. He wasn't that enthused to be an apprentice. He never really wanted to be one in the first place. He was only excited at the ceremony because it was a surprise, and he knew Halostep would be so happy for him and such, eh was happy for his siblings as well. Now that that was over, after Liontailn proposed the joint practice, his enthusiasm was gone. Mhm.
