Fox Fight (from main territory post "waiting for something to happen"

OOc-Read the post and you know wat happened so far.

Goldenpaw raced in the fox den to try and attack it from behind while Firenose distracted him. He grabbed the furry tail on the fox and let his jaws chomp down as hard as possible. He heard a yowl in pain come from the fox.

[Raintalon]

Firenose sighed in relief as he saw the other apprentice help on the fox. "We can drive her out, we have the number on our side." He hissed, lashing his paw across the foxs muzzle, only to dodge out of the way as the fox lunged at him.

[Snigger]

Mintpaw had heard yowling while she was out hunting. She charged towards the sound and soon saw Firenose and Goldenpaw fighting a fox. She ran down and to help out she went like she was going to run straight under it. Instead she flipped onto her back and slid. When she passed underneath the foxes underbelly she struck up with all of her paws, claws unsheated. As she slid from out from the other side she flipped back up onto her paws and turned around to face it.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenpaw jumped on to the she-fox's back, only to be tossed off. Only slightly winded, he got an idea. He shot up to his paws and raced to the fox and managed the jump on to her belly, hanging all paws upside down. He started to rake his hind claws up and down her belly, hoping to scare her off.

[Snigger]

Mintpaw stared at Goldenpaw, who was handing upside down. "Okay then. . ." she meowed to herself. She ran up behind the she-fox and bit it's leg but soon after she chomped down she got kicked in the face. She stumbled backwards and shook her head trying to shake the pain away.

[Goldenstorm]

Goldenpaw stopped as gashes in the fox's underbelly formed, scarlet seeping out. He jumped down, hoping that he and the rest of his clanmates have done enough to scare the fox and her cub off.

[Raintalon]

Firenose let out a yowl of triumph as the fox and its cubs curried away, leaving scarlet drops of blood trailing behind them. "You all fought like warriors." He mewed, his eyes glowing at the apprentices. Then, turning to whitepaw he hissed ferociuosly, "But what were YOU thinking? You could of got us all killed by coming down here!"

[Goldenstorm]

"Yeah Whitepaw, that wasn't smart. You should've waited until a patrol was organized." Goldenpaw went up to his clanmate and nudged Whitepaw "This nick on my shoulder is going to hurt for a moon because of you." he scolded humorously.

[Snigger]

Mintpaw teased, "Yeah I think I'll see double for a while." She blinked her eyes, trying agian to clear her partly cleared vision. That fox can kick!

[Goldenstorm]

"I say we get back to camp. I could sleep for a whole season." Goldenpaw flicked his tail.
