The Informal Ceremony

Mmm... so much work.

Littlestar walked onto the great boulder that stood hugely in the cave. It's smooth surface made himfeellike he was walking through WindClan. When he reached the top, he let loose the traditional yowl that called forth the clan to gather around and listen to whatever announcement needed to be said. This would be his first ceremony, the very first, and not the last.

"Today, I am proud to announce that we will be having six cats rise in rank today," his voice boomed so it could reach clearly into each cats ears. "These cats are Hollypaw, Fernkit, Duskkit, Poppykit, Mudpaw, and Houndpaw." He nodded his head with pride. THe clan will grow, and then they'd have more warriors for this Apprentice Boom. He flicked his tail to beckon the six cats forward so they could get their names and start a new journey.

"From this day on, Fernkit, Duskkit, and Poppykit, you three will now be known as Fernpaw, Duskpaw, and Poppypaw." Already he was thinking about the warrior name that would fit each best. He flicked his tail, calling their new mentors forward. "Fernpaw, your mentor will be Flamepelt. Duskpaw, your appointed mentor will be Crypticspark. And lastly, Poppykit, your mentor will be Ravenflight. I trust these three cats will teach you well the wisdom they aquired on their journies from apprenticehood and warriorship. They will make you fine warriors, and polish your skill and wisdom so one day you all may too have your own apprentices to do the same and so on." Hopefully he'd made the right choices. He dismissed the three new 'paws so they could touch noses and make some relationship with their new mentors. Now it was time for the proudest moment. The time where hard work is shown through.

"Hollypaw!" He called down to her. She was having a hard time with her mentor, Thrushflame, with the whole training process. He thought he would be glad she would be liberated, thanks to her friend Lilacpaw, who now hunted in the ranks of StarClan. "You have prevailed and shown your worth to the clan. Today, you shall be recognized by StarClan, and every cat, as Hollyfrost." He smiled and nodded to the new warrior. "Mudpaw, you as well have shown the great you can do for your clan. You've trained to your mentors approval, and now you shall be rewarded. You will brand the name Mudfoot." Mudfoot... he didn't really think about that one. "Last, but not least, Houndpaw. You've shown your potential many times since you were playing games in the nursey, and now you will formaly show it to every cat when you will defend your clan," hopefully that wouldn't come, "from this day, you'll be known as Houndclaw." He smiled down at each cat, happy with their developement. "Let StarClan learn your names well, and may you all rise above your own potential."

With that, the ceremony was over, and he walked down the boulder with the feeling of clan accomplishment.

Hollyfrost smiled, her green eyes shining with pride. She'd honestly never thought she'd be a warrior! And at only ten moons!

OOC: I had muse but I didn't feel like using it.

Pastpaw, after doing the whole name shouting thing, quickly made his way over to Hollypaw.. or Hollyfrost. "Hollypaw!" He said happily, pressing up against her and giving a congratualatory purr. "Er, Hollyfrost. Congratualations on the new warrior name!" He grinned widely. Wow, she accomplished that a lot faster than him. "So how does it fit on ya?"

OOC: Didn't feellike using muse either.

Hollyfrost purred. "It feels great! I never thought I'd get it so quickly..." She looked up at her friend. "Are you OK that you didn't get your name?" she mewed, twitching her tail.

OOC: Like... Pretend that Holly congratulated Houndeh and all them. XD

OOC: Okay. XD

"Okay? No, I'm fine. This is what? The third ceremony?" Pfft. He'd been missing ceremonies since they were kits. "I don't even think LIttlestar knows my warrior name yet, anyways." It would give him another reason not to make hin a warrior. If you don't know his name then how could you get a ceremony?

[Naruto]

Hollyfrost shrugged. "Yeah. I guess so."

Fernpaw let out an excited shriek and leapt happily towards Duskpaw completely forgetting about her mentor. "Where apprentices!" She called.

OOC: She has no idea whats coming *evil laugh*

Cherrypaw looked up. She was just about to leave the cave, until she'd heard her leader yowl.

"Hollyfrost! Mudfoot! Houndclaw!" She cheered for her Clan-mates. She felt a prick of jealousy in her stomach, then reminded herself that she would work hard to earn her own warrior name. She couldn't wait for that day! Her energy restored, she bounded out of the cave, calling over her shoulder. "Brightpaw, Riverpaw? You guys coming?"

OOC: No I didn't. I made a ceremony for everyone who posted saying they needed one. You didn't post,soI assumed you didn't need one.

Houndclaw (will remain till thinks of better name) gave a yawn and looked around. "Great. Now we have to sit vigil in the cold wet." He didn't really mean it, but it would be against his pessimisity to not complain. He wandered over to the entrance of camp and sat down, shivering.

Duskpaw ran around squeaking with exitement, jumping on her mentor, jumping on her friend, jumping on her mentor again, and so on.

Hollyfrost went to sit by Houndclaw. "It's not so bad!" she said cheerfully. "We could have not been made warriors at all!"

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight practically pranced up to Mudpaw, It's Mudfoot now. "I'm so proud!" she mewed happily, her eyes gleaming with pride. "Where's Brightpaw, she would love to hear the news. Don't you think?"

Thrushflame, carrying a very solemn and angered face, stepped heavily over to Hollyfrost. He took a deep breath, still looking furious. At the moment he opened his jaws, ready to say something, he looked confused. "Uh.. Congratulations. I think." he wasn't sure what to do next so he turned around and took a few steps, looking around to see if he could make himself useful.
