Even More Ceremony Crap [OPEN]

Silverstar paused in her den, recollecting the week's events. Two litters of kits had been born, warriors and apprentices and kits everywhere. All needing assistance and help. Where was that Frostheart character? Where was Leopardstrike? She sighed painfully, wishing he was home. She could only hope he was still alive. No matter, clan-life had to go on and had to continue, so the she-cat continued outside, breeze swishing her pelt slightly. A raindrop fell pointedly on her nose and the tabby looked up, eyes meeting with the stormclouds that refused to leave. She wondered what Quailfeather was thinking now, wondered if she knew if Leopardstrike was alright. Probably. He was her son after all. Taking a breath, recounting everything she had to say, Silverstar's voice boomed out, calling all of ThunderClan to her.

"Today, no matter the black clouds overhead, we welcome new apprentices and congratulate new warriors. ThunderClan continues to grow and remains strong."

She waved her tail to the waiting kits below, a whole army of them really. They become apprentices and the other apprentices move up and on. To better things maybe.

"Icekit, from now on until you receive your warrior name you will be known as Icepaw. Aspenleaf, I believe you are ready for your first an apprentice, you will be Icepaw's mentor. I know you will pass on your courage and heart to her, and teach her the skills that will make her a brave warrior of our precious clan." Continuing her 'going-to-be-long speech', Silverstar nodded to Oceankit, signalling him to come forward. "Oceankit, until you recieve your sacred warrior name, you will be known as Oceanpaw. Your mentor shall be Flashfire. I am sure, Flashfire, that you will pass on all of your experience and techniques to Oceanpaw. He will be a strong and mighty warrior to ThunderClan in the future."

Another wave of her silver striped tail.

"Silentkit, you, like your siblings, are ready to become an apprentice. Until you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Silentpaw. I trust that you, Frostheart, are certainly ready to take on another apprentice. I'm sure you will teach her everything you know and teach it well so, he [she?] will be a valuable warrior to ThunderClan."

Silverstar couldn't help to remember that these kits were Rainpelt's, and had only survived because another queen had taken them in. Some friend she was. Little did she know, her ex-best friend was actaully dead. Killed by Stormcloud's claws. The she-cat knew Lostkit wished to be Moonecho's apprentice, so she refrained from saying her name until Moonecho was present. Where had that cat gone to anyways?

[I would power-play Moonecho ... but that IS against the rules. xD]

"And there is more still. Leafkit, until you recieve your warrior name, you will be known as Leafpaw. Raintalon, you are highly capable of taking on another apprentice. From now on, you shall mentor Leafpaw and pass on your knowledge and ethics. In her own turn, and with your careful guidance, she shall be a great warrior indeed. Rockkit, from this moment on, until you gain your warrior name, you will be known as Rockpaw. Sandfur, you are ready for your second apprentice, you will mentor Rockpaw. With your hunting skills and techniques, Rockpaw will flourish and bloom."

Kits to apprentices: check. Warrior ceremonies now.

"Not only do we have new apprentices, but a few of our highly trained apprentices have successfully completed their courses. Blossompaw, I know it's been a very long wait, but I, Silverstar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down upon this apprentice. She has trained hard and long to understand and uphold your noble laws and ways and I command her to you as a warrior in her own turn. Blossompaw, do you swear to follow the warrior code and protect ThunderClan even at the cost of your life?"

The silver she-cat heard Blossompaw murmur "I do" proudly [slight power-play] and she continued.

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name, form this moment on, you will be known as Blossombreeze. StarClan honors your patience and strength and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan. And Fawnpaw, do you swear to follow the warrior code and protect ThunderClan, even at the cost of your life?"

Fawnpaw quietly mewed "I do."

"Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name, from this moment on, you will be known as Fawnstep. StarClan honors your caring nature and skills and we welcome you as a full warrior of our clan."

So ... many ... ceremonies ...

"ThunderClan, we are strong, we are brave, and we will tough out this terrible weather and beat down evil forces."

Silverstar finished, nodding her head proudly and looking over her clan cats. The cats she needed to protect and care for. Her family essentially.

BlossomBreeze stood there, proudly, she had finally been made a warrior, after she thought she was usless to the clan.
It was a wonderful moment

Sandfur stepped in front and congratulated all new warriors and apprentices.

Blazepaw congratulated her littermates to be apprentices. "You're all apprentice now!", she squealed. "We can do so many things together!!"


OOC: Blazepaw also needs a new mentor, like Rockpaw.

(Redwhsiker is gonna be Blazepaws mentor. Wht didn't you do Stormkit????? You did his siblings and not him! He was older then them! Make another post saying you forgot blah blah blah :))

Dawnfur watched her kits. Why hadn't Stormkit been apprenticed? She would now be getting back to her warrior duties. She was no longer a nursing queen.

ooc- Yeah right. Stormkit wasn't on my 'list' so he wasn't apprenticed. Who plays him?

OOC: Stormkit was in your list, as Snowkit. Frost, who play him, had to change the name, becuase there is already a Snowpaw in TC. Now he's Stormkit/paw. Please also mention, that because of Sunflowers kitting, Redwhisker will be Blazepaws new mentor. Since Fawnpaw was just made a warrior Sandfur is open for a new apprentice and would like to mentor Rockpaw. Danwfur would like to mentor Stormpaw, she said.

IC: Blazepaw saw the pride in her mothers eyes. She was proud too. She could teach her siblings everything she has leanred so far.
"Leafpaw! Rockpaw! Stormpaw! Lostpaw!" she jowled.

Lillyflower and Honeykit cheered happily for the new Apprentices and Warriors.

Honeykit knew that she would become an Apprentice soon.

OOC: There is already a Stormkit/paw... you need to change the name, AGAIN. And, Sand, Lostkit isn't Apprenticed untill Moonecho gets on... Which will be a long time... So, River-baa-chan, I'd just PowerPlay her... Just like I had to PowePlay Ripplesong when her RPer was VERY inactive...

Silverstar, seeing Moonecho pad into the clearing right after she finished, called baack out to the cats. "Wait! We have one more ceremony to complete." She nodded to the medicine cat once. "Lostkit, step forward." The small, blind kit took a single step forward. Moonecho let her voice rise upwards.

"Cats of ThunderClan, as you know I will not be around forever. So it's time I took an apprentice. I have chosen a cat who is smart, daring, and talented. Your next medicine cat will be Lostpaw."Silverstar nodded, speaking again. "Lostpaw, do you accept the post of apprentice to Moonecho?"

Lostpaw nodded, murmuring yes quietly, eyes shining.

"Then at the half-moon you must travel to Mothermouth, to be accepted by StarClan before the other medicine cats." Moonecho finished her acceptance, touched noses with Lostpaw, and looked up at Silverstar before padding into her den silently.

Lostki-... No... Lostpaw shuffled her paws around excitedly. Finally! I'm an Apprentice!

Raintalon held his head up high and padded over to leafpaw. "Congratulations on becoming an apprentice." He murmured to his new apprentice.

Leafkit beamed with happiness more than pride. It was like being proud of being apprenticed didn't even exist. Right now, it was just pure excitement, pure joy, waiting for the days of apprenticeship.

She looked up at her new mentor, Raintalon. "Thank you! Thank you!" She said loudly, not masking her excitement. "So when do we train?"

[Raintalon]

Raintalon let out a purr as he eyed the eager young apprentice. He remembered the day he was made an apprentice, it felt like the best thing in the world. "Well.." Raintalon started, looking up at the storm clouds barring away the sun. "Its your choice, do you want to start now in this weather or wait till its warmer?"

[Member]

Leafpaw looked up in the sky. Train now or when it gets warmer? The rain hadn't let up for days, she didn't expect it to stop anytime soon. And the weather, she could tell it was getting colder. If there was a warm day, it'd be a miracle.

"Train now!" Leafpaw decided with an eager grin.

[Raintalon]

Raintalon let out a mrrow of laughter at Leafpaw. "Alrighty then." He purred, flicking with his tail for her to follow him. "Come on, ill tour you around Thunderclan territory and show you the scent of other clans." He mewed over his shoulder, his fur fluffed up against the vicious wind.

IC: Sandfur padded to her mate. "I'm so proud of you", she mewed in his ear. She gave him a lovely lick between the ears. "Go now, I'll follow with Rockpaw short after."

Leafkit, with a little childish yip, bounce up and followed behind Raintalon. She'd have to break out of that habit soon if she wanted to be a proper apprentice, but this was the first day she got out! She would probably have her old kit impulses for a little while longer.
