Berrykits eyes widened with fascination. "Windclan?", she mumbled. "What is a Windclan?", she asked. "And why are all these cats here and what are these cats doing here?" So many questions were inside of her head and they just plopped out one after the other. "It's huge!", she added.

"If you want to know go ask Morningflower," Mintleaf prodded. As much as she'd love to talk with Berrykit she was going to be going on a patrol soon.

Berrykit looked at Mintleaf. Her tail dropped. Without a word she turned and padded back into the nursery. She cuddled herself to her sibblings and closed sadly her eyes.

"How was the foood?" Moonflight asked, reappearing at the entrance with some new moss for the bedding. She had seen Mintleaf come in with the prey.

Berrykit woke up, turned and looked at Moonflight. Her eyes were all wet from crying because Mintleaf didn't want to show her around. She fell asleep while crying. She sniffed one time and then turned and huddled herself again at her mother's belly.

"What's wrong Berrykit?" She was soncerned now, because she could here the kit sniffling.

"I-I asked Mintleafy questions but she send me away", Berrykit replied almost not hearable with her tiny voice. "But I don't want to ask Mommy! I wanted to be with Miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiintleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaf!", she yowled.

Mintleaf was about to head out of camp with the patrol when she heard a kit's cry from the nursery. It sounded like Berrykit was wailing her name. She excused herself and trotted over to the nursery. She popped her head in and asked, "What's wrong?"

Mintleaf stared wide-eyed at the kit. She purred, "I do like you, I just have duties I have to do." She paused for a second and continued, "I'm a warrior, you see. It's my duty to protect WindClan."
