Thrushkit opened his eyes. He shut them quickly after, suprised at the morning light. He blinked a few times as his eyes adjusted to the light. He jerked over to find his face embedded in peachy fur. "Plurrgh!" he cried, jumping to his feet. His eyes widened to saucer size as he absorbed in the nursery. "I can see, I can see!" he cried, jumping around the nursery.

OOC: can the RPers of dapplekit, peachkit and applekit please post here!! It's still an open topic though.

Thistleclaw padded into the nursery to check on his newborn kits. His eyes widened with delight as he saw his first kit already up and about, squealing and bounding around the nursery. "Thrushkit!" He purred, admiring his energetic son. He would make a great warrior when he grew up!

"Garaww!" growled Thrushkit, trying to jump on his father's back but not being quite tall enough. "Daddy!" he mewed between jumps.

Cherryheart stirred and slowly opened her eyes. The sweet scent of her mate had woken her up, along with Thrushkit's antics. "Hello Thistleclaw," she meowed, not moving so that her other kits had a chance to sleep. She slowly closed her eyes again, not going back to sleep but relaxing.

[Bumblebee~*]

With each attack on his back, Thistleclaw pretended to grow weaker and weaker. "You're... too... strong..." He croaked, and toppled to the ground limply, his ear twitching. He lifted his head from the game when he heard his mate's voice, and smiled. Seeing her always brightened his day. "Hello, Cherryheart." Then, he nudged Thrushkit playfully with his nose. "You'll wake all your siblings up, little warrior. Some cats do need rest, you know." He told him, eyes bright.

"Well certainly not me!" protested Thrushkit, pouncing on Thistleclaw's head. "I won!" mewed Thrushkit. At the same second though, he started to slip. "Mew!" he said in a small voice, landing on the ground after a two-inch fall. Thrushkit went limp. "You've killed me," he whispered, and flopped his head down onto the small, fluffy, peach-coloured bundle he had landed on.

Cherryheart listened to he kit's adventure, not needing to open her eyes to picture what was going on. As she heard him announce his death, she opened her eyes to see what he'd landed on. "Thrushkit!" She meowed esaperatedly. "Do you know that you just landed on your sister?" Cherryheart picked him up by the scruff of his little neck and took him off Peachkit, watching him peddal his legs around in the air helplessly, trying to free himself. "The little rascal," she meowed to Thistleclaw. "Whatever are we going to do with you?" she whispered to Thrushkit, who was now off his sister and back on the ground, with a smile in her eyes.

[Bumblebee~*]

Thistleclaw gave a mrrow of laughter as his son fell, "dead", on top of his sister, a soft peach-coloured she-kit. "You'll wake up the whole camp!" He said, unable to make his voice stern. "He's just opened his eyes, and he's already such a pawful!" He mewed to Cherryheart.

He moved his muzzle closer to his mate's stomach to get a good look at the other kits. He breathed in their kit-scent, milky and soft, and watched the tiny rise and fall of their breathing. Lifting his head and looking his mate in the eyes, he mewed quietly so as not to wake the tiny bundles, "When do you think they'll open their eyes?"

"Hopefully soon. In fact, probably any time now. Or maybe this one," -she gestured towards Thrushkit-"is just an early bloomer."

Thrushkit's eyes widened to saucer-size as he saw something twitch. Ooooh... what's this? He thought to himself. It twitched again. Thrushkit waggled his hindquarters, ready to pounce, not nowing that this strange object was his own tail. He leapt, and of course, missed. He gave chase after the mystery object. Darn, this thing is fast! he thought to himself.

[Bumblebee~*]

He nodded. "Yes, probably." He was losing himself in Cherryheart's blue gaze, falling into two sparkling pools, remembering the day when they met...

A tiny furball whipped past him, tossing him back to the present. He turned around to see Thrushkit chasing after his own tail. The sandy brown warrior laughed and lay down next to his mate, watching the little kit run in circles. "He certainly is a little rascal!" His purring laughter shook his body.

"Oooof! mewed Thrushkit as he crashed into the wall, looking around for the mystery object. "Where's it gone! Lemme at it, lemme at it! I nearly caught it!..." creid Thrushkit, sitting down by his mother's side. He flopped down ontop of his siblings. "Noooo!" he wailed.

Cherryheart looked at her mate and rolled her eyes, with a sparkle in them. "Thrushkit!" she cried. "That's the second time you've crushed your sisters!" she exclaimed, reaching her head forwards to pick him up by his scruff.

"Noo! Noo! Anything but that!" protested Thrushkit. "Please no!!!" he wailed as he was lifted helplessly into the air.

Cherryheart plopped the kit on the ground and pinned him down, starting to give Thrushkit a thorough grooming while he struggled feebly.

"You'll never... finish grooming me... I'm a warrior!" Thrushkit mewed between licks.

"Future warriors need to look their best, so you'll stay put!" Cherryheart smiled at her 'Little Warrior'. In her heart she knew that he would be a great warrior, just like his father. "Look, you woke your little sister! Hello, little one," meowed Cherryheart softly to her little kit, a gleam of pride in her eyes.

[Bumblebee~*]

OOC: Thistleclaw is so lovesick. XD It's sickening.

Yeah, but I have a cat in RC who was almost declined because of another cat with the same name in TC... but the user is unactive or the cat's dead, so yeah.

IC: Thistleclaw suppresed another mrrow of laughter as Cherryheart cleaned him. "She's right, you know. Look at me; warriors can be good-looking too." He joked, flicking Thrushkit's ear fondly with his tail, just as he heard a gasp from one of his daughters. "Specklekit! You're awake!" He mewed delightedly.

Speckle/Spottedkit gazed up at the cat before her. She was so pretty!!!

The tan-and-brown tomcat purred happily. It shouldn't be long before the others open their eyes too! But for the time being, he just admired his daughter. She had a beautiful patterned pelt, most likely inherited from him, although hers was a shade of silver, like moonlight washing over a lake.

Thrushkit got up from his grooming to roll around on the ground, messing it up. Cherryheart rolled her eyes. He then pounced, aming for Speckle/Spottedkit who he knew would be adjusting his eyes to the light.

"Thrushkit!" Thistleclaw scolded. "Give your poor sister a chance to defend!" He rolled his eyes, amusement glinting in them.

Spottedkit had been staring up at the huge cat that must have been her father when she was bowled over by a furry bundle. She Flailed around. "Ffftt!" she hissed feebly. Then she looked up at her parents for help. "mew?!?!?!"
