Poppykit was tossing and turning all night, the sound of battle, screams, and yelps. Even having a guard standing by the nursery was not enough, With Celestialkit gone everything was scary. Everything. Rolling on her side, eyes still closed, she sighed, taking in a big breath. It was time. Time too open her eyes and see the world, see her mother, see her father [not], and her brothers and sisters. It would be exciting to see all the queens, and kits, and warriors, and the apprentice's, the elders, and the leader and deputy. What would it be like? Would they all like her? Would it be worth the thought of opening her eyes. Rolling on her back she knew she had to do it. Who knows something horrible could happen and she would never she her mother, that would be sad. Without having a second though she opened them, it was kinda dark, not like it should be. The tinny she-cat stood up, taking in the morning air. "Mommy?" she called out, not know who her mother, father, or brothers and sisters were.

Creamfur padded back in from going for a walk. "Are you okay?" Creamfur asked as she lay down beside her own New Born Kit. The little Kit had been born with a crucked leg.

Halostep heard her adopted kit's mew and was amazed to see her tiny eyes were stretched open, a scared expression in them. Hurrying over to her, the queen wrapped her fluffy tail around Poppykit, comforting her. "Welcome little darling to WindClan." She purred, a warm smile on her cream face.
