Kestrel gave a growl, smirking. "You made me lose my catch." He turned towards Mudpaw."Kestrel mouse-brain."

Mudpaw looked at the figure again. It wasn't the fact that he didn't know Kestrel, but as it was impossible to see them through this rain, and the smell masked out any scent of Fireclan, along with the pouring rain that didn't help him at all. "Are you coming with us then, Kestrel?" He asked, gazing intently at what he guessed where the head should be.

Kestrel wrinkled his nose as a foul stench hit his nostrils. He turned to look acusingly at a suspicious peice of moss, then turned his attention back to Mudpaw. Gross. "Fine, I'll come."

Mudpaw was acting like he'd never seen Kestrel before. Then again, Brightpaw hadn't seen much of him around the camp or territory, but that was probably just because she'd never taken the time to actually meet the white warrior.

"Yeah, then hurry up, and don't let your prey get away next time." Mudpaw meowed, pointing his tail to the spot where the mouse had ran away, and padded forward, away from the leafed tree where he had caught the other prey. He didn't want this Kestrel to scare all of the prey away with their vile scent.

Mudpaw looked back at Brightpaw, and stood waiting for her to catch up with him. It would, of course, be nicer to have her warm pelt against his in a rain like this.
