Cloudfrost's and Griffonpaw's training

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw stopped, trying to decide what to do. Better do this. He
purposely kept going, and tripped over the same briar tendril. "Stupid
tendril, I didn't see it." he growled, mutturing so that Cloudfrost
could hear him.

[Naruto]

He sighed inwardly, knowing Griffonpaw's trick and playing along. "Can't smell a thing out here,"he grunted, yanking his paws free and standing up, scowling towards the general direction of the sky. He did notice that the air smelled damper, and that there was no prey scent. The snow's getting heavier...

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw pretended to struggle up. "Eh, I can't see anything. Everything out here is covered in snow." he growled.

[Naruto]

He cast a pale blue gaze on Griffonpaw, appreciation lighting his eyes along with a sliver of pride. He looked away, shaking his paws and continuing onward.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw followed, keeping an eye on Cloudfrost as the training hollow came up ahead. "Almost there." he sighed.

[Naruto]

"I noticed,"he growled, a hint of his grouchy attitude resurfacing. Cloudfrost bounded into the hollow, taking his place on the opposite side of the clearing and clearing away the snow with his fore paws.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw padded softly into the clearing. "I was talking to myself." he looked squarely at Cloudfrost, getting in his fighting stance. "Your move."

[Hidan of teh hot springs]

ooc does that mean every time we move the story to a new place we need to move the thread and if so does that mean until me and ferralpelt have to stay in the cla until we come out to the terretory and even if the thread is in sc territory can i still say that im in the camp O_O

Cloudfrost lunged across the clearing, knowing he was at a major disadvantage. But attacking head-first and without warning (Mostly) was his style. He zigzagged across the clearing before jumping up, flipping over in midair, and landing beside Griffonpaw, purposely off-balance so that he could push Griffonpaw over onto his side so he could pin him down.

Griffonpaw felt Cloudfrost's great weight crash down on him as he struggled to stay standing. He pushed against Cloudfrost's shoulder, but nevertheless, he fell onto the ground. He let out a grunt and wiggled underneath Cloudfrost, kicking up and tossing his paws around, trying to get the white warrior off him. Claws sheathed of course.

[Naruto]

Cloudfrost jumped away, batting at Griffonpaw's head. "You have to try and anticipate your opponent's moves, so that you don't get caught in any nasty situations,"he said, eyes gleaming. He loved the thrill of fighting, even if it was just a Play Fight.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw let out a aggravated growl, though he loved training with Cloudfrost. The prickly warrior reminded him of himself. "Gotcha." he snarled as he charged forward, lunging in the air to hang of a pine. He hung from the long pine limb, waiting for Cloudfrost.

[Naruto]

The gray-and-white warrior smelled the sap in the pine tree thicken the air as Griffonpaw's weight landed on it, and stared up at him, eyes narrowed. He remembered when he'd last tried to climb a tree... Never again. He sat down patiently and waited for his apprentice to come down. "Have you ever seen a blind cat try to climb a pine tree?"he called, eyes twinkling playfully.

[Goldenstorm]

"Not really!" Griffonpaw shouted down. "There's always a first!" he challenged playfully.

[Naruto]

"You asked for it!"he howled, lunging at the tree. Whatever. He had better balance than most cats thought. He clawed frantically at the bark, pulling himself up to the branch underneath Griffonpaw's.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw lost his grip in surprise, he didn't think Cloudfrost would actually climb up after him. He fell out of the tree, falling hard on the ground. "Ouch." he grunted painfully. All of the air jetted out his lungs as he struggled to regain his breathe.

[Naruto]

"Griffonpaw?!"he hissed, hearing him fall just mouselengths in front of his whiskers. He leaped down, landing hard on his paws, and ran over to him.

[Goldenstorm]

"I'm okay." Griffonpaw had already caught his breath and decided to use this to his advantage. He launched a great paw over Cloudfrost's ear, feeling something under him, he couldn't tell what it was. He jumped to his paws and jumped, hoping to hit Cloudfrost.

[Naruto]

Cloudfrost jerked back, feeling a paw whisk past his cheek fur and he heard Griffonpaw land beside him. He ducked down, aiming to run underneath his apprentice and launch himself upwards to knock him off balance.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw landed roughly on his paws, stumbling a bit. He saw Cloudfrost coming and knew that he wasn't big enough for a full grown warrior to crawl underneath him, just to make sure, he crouched a bit. He tensed his muscles in case Cloudfrost changed his plans.

[Naruto]

Cloudfrost kept coming, but at the last second he launched his paw outwards, towards Griffonpaw's front legs. He'd heard the slight crunch in the snow as Griffonpaw crouched lower;he probably wouldn't be able to jump out of the way or dodge.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw saw that Cloudfrost wouldn't be able to stop. He leaped up, aiming to fall down on the warrior.

[Naruto]

The gray warrior felt the air whoosh out of his lungs as his apprentice landed on him. "Uff,"he gasped, panting.

[Goldenstorm]

Griffonpaw remained on his mentor. "Are you okay?" his words prickled with worry, the warrior didn't look as young as he used to.
