Training

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight sped down to the Arch, taking her tall perch. She waited patiently and her spirit lifted as she felt a gentle breeze scurry across her muzzle. She sat down, let her tail hang down and let out a brief sigh, full of relief. A moment of peace was always welcoming, it soothed her worries, and for a moment, there wasn't a care in the world.

But now, her view was blocked by gray clouds, spitting out snow that never ceased. Her moment of peace was gone, and it sent her crashing back down into reality. Her gaze hardened, she wrapped her tail around her paws and stopped daydreaming.

Hell had broken loose in the Clans.

[Wolvine]

Houndpaw gave a sigh. He raised his head, and through squinted eyes and rain drops he saw a figure. The rain left him unable to scent, so he fell into a crouch and crawled towards it, hoping it wasn't a hostile.

Deerpaw looked behind her, seeing what looked like Ferretflight. "Hey!" She called, bounding over, unaffraid.

Ferretflight looked down on Deerpaw, "You've come to train?" she asked, her mew showing no emotion. Her thoughts still looming on the Clans' current conditions, even WolfClan was suffering.
She shook her head slightly and brought herself back to the task at hand, Deerpaw. She had to teach her and her friends at the moment and thinking about the Clans and what needed to be done was going to teach them how to claw a DarkClan cat's eyes out.

[Wolvine]

Deerpaw nodded eargerly, and smiled. "But what about our mentors> SHuld we get them too?"

Houndpaw blinked. There where two now. He growled softly and stood up. "Hello?" He called, not opening his eyes wider.

[Goldenstorm]

"I don't think we'll need them, but if you wish them to be here, your welcome to find them." Ferretflight blinked, offering Deerpaw the chance to wander off on her own.
She caught a faint glimpse of growling in her right ear, she whipped her head around with alarm and saw only Hounpaw, a fellow apprentice of her Clan. "Greetings." she called, her honey colored eyes showing nothing of what she felt.

[Wolvine]

Houndpaw gave a relived smile, and padded up to the firgures. Yes, he could see now that they where Fireclan cats, Ferretflight and Deerpaw. "Heya Feretflight. Hey Deerpaw." He growled casually, sitting down. "I hatre rain. SO much."

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight looked down at the young tom, "It's not rain, leaf-bare has stayed an especially long this season. The snow has soaked us through." It was true, for at that very moment, a fiercer wind seemed to whip upon them, and Ferretflight could feel it nip at her skin, freezing her through. She gave a shiver, and rested her gaze on Houndpaw again.

[Cheesles]

Snwocloud bounded easily up to the stone arch, her snow white fur gleaming and her green eyes shining. She looked at Ferrelflight, "Need some help?"

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight looked at her clan-mate, "If you wish. I've many apprentices to teach and only four paws." she smiled faintly.

[Cheesles]

"Yeah ok!" Snowcloud mewed.

OOC: Actually, the bar says rain X3

ooc: really? i just figured it be snow since it's still winter. all well, i too lazy to edit it.

"So." Ferretflight looked down at the three other cats. "What shall we do for this training session?" she asked, her tail twitching slightly. She flicked one ear, a raindrop bounced off her ear and found it's way into her back. She stifled a shiver as she accidentally breathed in a few drops of water.

[Wolvine]

"Hunting!" Deerpaw called. Houndpaw snorted. 'No way! Fighting!"

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight waited patiently. "How about you two practice fight each other, then we can go hunting. We'd knock out two birds in one pounce." she mewed kindly, her mind still somewhat distant.

[Cheesles]

"Good thinking!" Snowcloud mewed.

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight smiled at Snowcloud, then looked back at the two toms. "Go on you two, claws sheathed."

[Wolvine]

Deerpaw blinked, then looked over at Ferretflight. "You mean Snowcloud and Houndpaw right?" She asked.

[Goldenstorm]

"Yes. Snowcloud, try to teach him something." Ferretflight mewed, looking at the warrior with a grin.

Brightpaw watched from the edge of the trees, shivering. "Stupid rain," she muttered, wrapping her tail around her paws.

[Wolvine]

"Finally!" Houndpaw growled, smiling at Brightpaw. "Someone who understands!"

[Goldenstorm]

Ferretflight cast a glance at Houndpaw. She wanted to get his mind off the rain, Brightpaw wasn't helping much. "Claws sheathed." she reminded him coldly.

[Wolvine]

OOC: He ment about the rain...

[Mosspaw]

Mudpaw walked through the brush, searching for more prey to add to the... one... tiny... mouthful... of prey that he had found so far, and he smelled cats, a bunch of them. This must be the training that Brightpaw was talking about, he followed the trail until he found a bush sort-of-thing to hide under from the rain, and he lied there, the ground was a little wet, but it was drier than it was out there. He wondered where the bunch of cats that were supposed to be hunting went, but that wasn't very important, considering a couple of them had stayed behind to fight eachother, he decided to watch. He wouldn't stay long, just part of the fight, then he would be off to hunting again, that would surely impress the others if he came back with as much as they did combined.

[Wolvine]

OOC: There where so many things wrong with that post. A) They weren't ment to be out hunting. B) Ferretflight, Brightpaw and Deerpaw haven't left yet. Eh...

Houndpaw swung his head round and looked at the bush. He could see eyes, and sniffed hard. He smiled. 'Mudpaw." He growled to himself.

Ferretflight was waiting for Houndpaw and Snowcloud to fight when a fierce wind whipped past her face. Fresh scents sent themselves hurling at her, she smelled the rain, though she could already smell it, a faint trace of dried herbs, lost catmint perhaps, and a cat scent, along with others that were faint and old. She poked and prodded at the scent in her mind, thinking of who it could be. Finally, after a few moments, she'd deciphered the tricky scent. She looked around, seeing nothing until she spotted a pair of eyes slicing through a sparse tangle of bare branches that could be a bush. Now why would Mudpaw be hiding? she chuckled to herself.
