At their first breath, she drew her last. (Open sasuke and river)

The young black wolf stumbled through the thin layer of snow. She could smell the scents of the group wolves but she didn't care. She need to find shelter. Her swollen belly swung heavily with her unborn pups but pains racked it. She knew she needed shelter soon, or her and her pups would die.

She finally lay down in an abandoned burrow covered by a bush. She lay comfortably and grimaced as the pain hit her again. The pains her coming closer together, it would be soon. She stretched out as best she could and began to push.

A damp brown bundle fell into her make-shift nest beside her. She licked furiously to help her first pup start breathing. She could feel the other coming. Two more. She yowled in her mind. She pushed on but steadily grew weaker. Her first pup lapped at her belly while kneading it with its tiny paws. The second, a silvery pup was born. She again licked it and placed it next to its sister. The young male was weak, if she died it would not last the night. Her last pup fell into the nest, a pretty black she-wolf.
"Willow." She exhaustedly placed her tail on the brown pups head.
"Lycra." Onto the black. She fell short when she noticed the unmoving grey one.

At their first breaths, she gave her last.
