Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Lionpaw finally got all the leaves out of this tail and licked over it. With the help of his mentor it was all fluffy again. He pressed his tail to his nose. "There you are, my beautiful tail!", he whispered. Lokking at the two older cats he mewed "Can we go out hunting now pleeeease? I'm starving!"

"Right, lets keep this assesment style. You go hunting and we'll watch. You might not notice us." Silverfang remembered his first assesment very well. Hopefully he could be as good as his mentor had been at keeping hidden.

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Mintpaw about squealed like a kit. She maintained her cool though and replied, "Okay then! This is going to be fun!" She was thinking of where the best place to find prey was when it dawned on her. She asked, "Hey when will it be time for Lionpaw and me to earn our warrior names?"

"Soon I think. I will talk to Wlfstar and Smoketail about it, don't worry. But first we have to make sure we have tought you. If we wherer usless mentors, then it won't really work out." Silverfang looked up. The sun was begining to shine down fully. "Ok, Start!"

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Mintpaw bolted as soon as Silverfang said start. She ran across the open moor, feeling the wind fly through her fur. She stopped after a bit and scented the air, seeing if there was any prey nearby. She smelled mouse a close by. She looked towards were the scent was coming from and saw something brown scuffling near a heather bush. She dropped into a crouch and stalked silently towards it. Putting each paw down as lightly as possible, she got within pouncing range. She pushed off on her haunches, flying at the mouse. It tried to run but it was too late. Mintpaw landed on the mouse, snapping on its back and killing it instantly. She buried it to get later and tasted the air again. This time she smelled rabbit and she headed off in its direction.

Silverfang watched as Mintpaw killed the mouse expertly. She would make a fine warrior. He walked silently off too look for his own apprentice.

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Mintpaw saw the rabbit not to long after she headed off after it. It was mostly brown but its pelt had begun to change to its white winter pelt. She tensed her leg muscles and then shot off without warning. The rabbit reacted fast and sped off, too. Mintpaw chased it with her claws digging into the ground. She quickly caught up to it and when one of her paws came down her claws slid through the rabbit's fur on it's tail. When her front paws came down she sprung out, lifting up above the rabbit. She came down on it, stopping them both. It struggled a bit but she bit its neck, killing it as well. She tasted the air once more but didn't smell anything except the dead rabbit, herself, and the slight hint of Silverfang. She half carried half drug the rabbit back to where she buried the mouse. Then she buried the rabbit and went to find some more prey.

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Lionpaw darted in another direction as Silverfang gave the signal.
He felt the wind blow through his long pelt. He must look like a giant furball now.
He walked the moorlands and headed for the Thunderclan border. He wanted to bring something special. He sniffed the air. Gotcha, he thought. Preyscent. The one he was looking for.
He found the creature fast, it ran to their territory. He crouched down, making himself flat. and waited until it was totally in their territory. Then it stopped, sniffing for some seeds or nuts. This was his chance. Lionpaw darted out of nowhere to the tiny creature. In the moment it tried to run away Lionpaw had already pressed paw on it and killed it with a fast bite. Silverfang will be pleased. he thought.
He burried the squirrel and headed upwards, looking for something else.
He stood on a high hill now and could watch nearly all the territory. Then a movement caught his eyes. A big white creature. He pressed himself flat again. He placed on paw in front of the other, making no noise at all. Then he saw the creature headed for its den again. He has to attack now. He bolted to the rabbit and chased it away from its den. It sidestepped often, so it was dificult to get it. Then Lionpaw saw his chance as the rabbit headed directly to a big root. With a mghty jump he landed shortly behind the rabit and managed to claw its side. The rabbit fall over and rolled a bit downside the hill. It would not stand up again. Lionpaw raced after it and caught it rolling, killing it with sharp claws. He burried the rabbit, too. Hoping that he has been watched for either the squirrel or thid rabbit.
OOC: Look at my signature, I changed Lionpaws warrior name from Lionpelt to Liontail ^^ Isnt it funneh? :)

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Mintpaw started running, she was heading more towards the ThunderClan border. She looked up to a high hill and saw a fluffy cat standing on the slope of it. The wind was blowing the wrong way to scent it but she guessed it was probably Lionpaw. She slipped into the undergrowth. She looked up into the trees, seeing if any prey were perched up there. There wasn't but she had an idea. She unsheated her claws and took a leap for the nearest tree's trunk. She climbed up the trunk and got on a sturdy branch. She walked out to the end of the branch, looking for another branch she could leap to. She spotted it and leap, landing and not falling. She continued her trek from the trees looking for prey below and above the forest floor. She saw a squirrel on a little farther away branch. Mintpaw ran towards it, hoping from branch to branch but staying off of the flimsy ones. It bolted and leap to another tree but she followed it. With one giant leap she landed on the squirrel and with a nice blow, killed it. She jumped down from the tree, landing on all fours, and buried the squirrel.
Mintpaw climbed up another tree continuing her new style of forest hunting. It was a good thing she was light enough for this, most cats her age wouldn't be able to attempt this with their weight. She found a thrush a little higher in the next two trees. She knew it would fly away if she tried to climb higher first. So instead she leap up, claws extended. They met the thrush before it could even sound an alarm. Pulling her prey down with her, she prepared to land back on the branch. When she landed, the branch snapped and sent her plummeting to the ground. Mintpaw landed but in an awkwardly manner. She yelped as she put her right front paw down. She wouldn't be able to hunt now.

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Lionpaw decided to return to the woods near Thunderclan territory. Maybe he could find some other for Windclan exotic prey.
Not short after he found a Raven sitting in front of an ant hole. Lionpaw prowled on it. He leaped and got his claws in it's wing. The raven turned and tried to pick him with it's pecker. Lionpaw turned and avoided it. The raven tried to fly away, but it's wing was torn, so it couldn't. Lionpaw used the moment and killed the raven with a furious bite. He burried it and headed for more prey.
After all day hunting he felt really exhausted. He padded along the border as he found Mintpaw, licking her front paw. He hurried to her. "Mintpaw, whats happened?!", he mewed, and put his tail comforting on her shoulder.

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Mintpaw grumbled, "The stupid branch broke when I landed on it and when I landed I hurt my paw." She swore under her breath as she stood up. She continued, "Since its hurting this bad I can't continue hunting so I better gather up my prey." She awkwardly picked up the thrush, trying not to put her hurt paw down. Then she limped towards where she had buried the squirel, not looking to see if Lionpaw was following. She unburied the squirrel and after awkwardly picking it up as well, started to limp back to the moor to go get her mouse and rabbit, cursing around the fur and feather the entire way.

OOC: Sorry, been away.
Firenose watched in alarm as mintpaw landed on her paw. Coming up behind mintpaw, he mewed, "Mintpaw, how is your paw? Can you walk?" His eyes were full of worry, he didn't want to fail his first apprentice.

Silverfang walked up to Firenose, Mintpaw and Lionpaw. "Ouch, that doesn't look good." He gave the aprentice a sympathetic look. "Come on, I'll help you round up your prey." Silverfang turned back to Lionpaw for a moment. "That was ome good hunting Lionpaw. Glad you where smart enough to tear that raven's wing before you tried killing it."

Re: Training(Open to mintpaw silverfang and lionpaw)
Mintpaw sighed, "Thanks, all that's left are a mouse and rabbit, and they're both buried in the same place." She was starting to wobble on her paws so she sat down, keeping her paw off the ground and swearing some more.

"Thank you, Silverfang", lionpaw mewed. "I should gather up my prey soon. Here are a raven and a squirrel and in the moor lies a rabbit. Shall I take the raven and squirrel and take Mintpaw back to camp while you gather the mouse and the two rabbits?", he asked.

Lionpaw gathered up his prey and went back to Mintpaw. He lay his tail over her shoulder and murmered through the prey. "Can you walk back to camp with my help?"
