Barkfur stood by the entrance, her eyes screaming for rest, but there was one more thing she had to do, talk to Silverstar. She was hoping that Thunderfeather had come with her, since both she and Thunderfeather had hunted down their prey. The prey that Silverstar will be more than happy to here about. "Silverstar." she waited for a reply.

"Barkfur,"Thunderfeather grumbled,scuffling her paws. Then she sighed and looked into Silverstar's den.

"Thankyou for coming with me." Barkfur meowed as she stood beside her clanmate she looked at the entrance, trying to peer inside the sheltered den.

Barkfur sighed, tired of her long night. "It was fun hunting thar pheasant." Barkfur said, trying to strike up a conversation.

"My mentor taught me how to. He was a really good hunter. He was the only I knew that could take down a pheasant, all on his own." Barkfur remarked, remembering her mentor, Ravenclaw.

Silverstar looked from behind the hard wall of her den. She hollered out to them, beckoning them in. She fought the thoughts about Rainpelt and managed a somewhat happy looking face. If not happy, gentle.

Thunderfeather grumbled and padded into the leader's den. "Hello,Silverstar."she said respectfully. "Barkfur has some news to share with you."

"Yes, I do." she spoke to Silverstar.
"I'll tell you after we're out of here." Barkfur whispered as she rose to her paws and slipped through the entrance through the den. She sat in front of her leader and instructed her gaze toward her friend and waited for her.

Silverstar's whiskers twitched with amusement. She felt as if she was stalking a mouse! Not to make too much sound or you would scare it away! "And what is this you need to talk to me about?" Her silvery tail swooshed and billowed in the ever-lasting wind.

"We have caught fresh-kill large enough for the whole clan. I don't think we need to send out any patrols today." Barkfur advised, flicking her tail for Thunderfeather to add in.

Silverstar smiled, the first real one in sunrises. "Nice work. More prey is always needed." She purred, a delicate, although rumbling sound.

(no way, if you read the book where they are about to leave the forest, one of the cats was killed chasing a pheasant over the thunderpath. Afterward they said one of those could feed the WHOLE clan.)
