[Naruto]

Heatherpaw waited in the warrior's den for her old mentor,her eyes shining. Her tail swished,disturbing some moss in his nest. "Where is he?"she hissed impatiently to no one in particular.

Bengalbelly padded into the warriors den. He wasn't tired, but he just wanted to try and get some sleep. He got into his nest and lay down on it. His quickly jumped up from his nest, pelt bristling. He hissed in anger. In his nest was a thorn. Who's the idiot who did this?

"Some apprentices have no sense," he grumbled before picking up the piece in his jaws. He spit it out into the next warriors nest. "Not my problem now," he growled. Normally he'd take it out, but he wasn't in the mood today.

Bengalbelly went back in his next and lay down, this time more slowly. When he got comfortable he closed his eyes and tried to force himself to sleep. He didn't expect to fall into slumber soon, but maybe he was more tired than he thought, because he fell asleep instantly.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw hissed as Bengalbelly materialized in front of her. "About time,"she growled,her tail lashing. But her eyes shone. She poked his side with a paw,her ears twitching.

Bengalbelly growled as he was prodded awake. He opened his eyes quickly and looked over at Heatherpaw. His eyes narrowed and he growled at her. "What do you want?" Of course she was back again. He lashed his tail, angry.

"Like I said before,I'm stuck with you." Heatherpaw shrugged. The familiar words raced across her mind. She sighed,looking behind her. "I gotta make this quick,"she murmured,looking back to Bengalbelly.

Bengalbelly grunted. "When I ridded myself of you I expeced you to be gone... and not be seen again. Now your here, saying your stuck. hey way you say it shows that you don't even want to be here. So, how about you go over there," he pointed his tail off to the side, "and I'll stay here so I don't have to see you and you don't have to see me. Everyone's happy. Got it?" He tilted his head, his eyes still narrowed in cold. He just wanted her to be gone.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw flinched slightly. "Sure,"she said icily. But hurt was silently etched into the words. She closed her eyes a moment,as though she was resting. Then,she was standing beside Bengalbelly in a huge forest,the tree trunks thicker than monsters. She padded slowly away,her tail drooped. She clawed her way up into a tree,sitting on a high branch. She was ten or twelve fox-lengths off the ground,and she balanced confidently. She turned her gaze away from Bengalbelly,staring instead into the huge forest.

"Thank, NightClan," he muttered when she left. He jumped up from his laying spot when the forest came. Why did she have to do that? "What'd you do that for? I was actually enjoying the darkness. Did you need a tree to go brood in or something?" Bengalbelly growled. Stupid cat, always being so down about nothing.

Heatherpaw snorted. "I thought you might not want to see me."she retorted. "Death has made me wiser." The comment made her wince,shattering the illusion of a forest. They were back in the dark,her bright ginger pelt stained with shadows. She was turned away from him,her shoulders slumped. "Happy now?"she asked tersely.

"It has? Well, it sure doesn't seem like it," he said, happy that he was back in the darkness. "Death must not have made you much wiser, because your still as mouse-brained as you ever were."

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw bristled,then relaxed,making her fur lie flat. "Whatever you say,o' wise mentor."she mumbled,her ear twitching.

Bengalbelly narrowed his eyes at her and lay back down. "Got thorns stuck in you fur or something?" He grunted and then lay his head on his paws. "Never mind, I don't really care." Bengalbelly was starting to get a... somewhat bored feeling. He almost regretted his decision to make Heatherpaw go over there. It was a little... lonelier in this dark void.

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw grumbled darkly. "You can have your dreams,just with me in them. And since your bored,wake up why don't you." Her voice was icy. Inside,she felt loneliness squeeze her heart and she sighed.

"Well, if you haven't noticed, I haven't been dreaming lately. Every night has gone without dreams until you came along." He padded over to Heatherpaw. "And by the way, i can't just think wake up and it'll happen. Sorry, but I don't work like that."

[Naruto]

"Really?"Heatherpaw's voice only held a paw full of warmth. "I always thought that dreams were the best part of living. Because no matter what happens outside sleep,you can always escape to dreams." Her voice shook slightly.

Bengalbelly grunted. "I thought you said death made you wiser? Eh.. never mind." He didn't want Heatherpaw to go on another 'bout of depression again. "Well, I can't. I close my eyes and then open them to a new day. Every day. I lost my dreams a long time ago. I don't exactly have a place to escape from the world."

[Naruto]

"Hmm,"Heatherpaw murmured,lost in thought. She got up suddenly. "I don't mean to be rude,"she mumbled,her tail twitching. She padded closer to him,her eyes carefully hollow. "You must see something."she whispered urgently.

"Hmm...." Bengalbelly twitched his ear. In reality, he couldn't be bothered to see this. He'd probably assume it was something stupid (which it usually was), but not this time. Anyways, he needed something to do. "Okay, dazzle me with this thing that must see."

[Naruto]

Heatherpaw flicked her tail. "Come on!"she yowled,turning suddenly to run from Bengalbelly. "You must see this!"

Bengalbelly's pelt bristled. Whatever it was, it must have been important. He ran after Heatherpaw. What was it he had to see? Something that'd change something? Something incredibly stupid? Or... what? He couldn't think of much else, he just ran after her.

[Naruto]

OOC:Is it okay if she sees Clovernose with kits? O.O

Heatherpaw skidded to a stop at a large light,panting. The light was the only warmth in the darkness,and her fur was turned silver by the mystical glow.

Bengalbelly stopped beside Heatherpaw. The light warmed his pelt and he looked down at it, squinting his eyes. "Is this what you wanted to show me? A light?" He narrowed his eyes and his pelt bristled. "I knew it'd be something stupid," he grumbled to himself.

[Naruto]

"It's not stupid if you look closer!"Heatherpaw hissed,looking down at the beautiful light. Instantly,an image of a beautiful white she-cat with two kits filled the light. Her gaze was drawn to a pale ginger she-kit,who looked up,her hazel eyes bright with excitement. Heatherpaw felt all the air leave her lungs in a great burst. "I told you I'd find a way...."

Bengalbelly looked down at the image. He looked at Heatherpaw for a quick second before his eyes darted over to the white she-cat. Her narrowed his eyes and peered closer at her. Her green eyes, white fur. They looked so... familiar. Could it... could it be?

"I... think I know that cat," he said, pointing a paw at the white she-cat. "Yeah! I do!" He exclaimed.
