The Brother's first visit

[Naruto]

Twilight lay heavily on the waterlogged forest,and ferns shivered water to the ground as a large gray tabby tom stalked through,his green eyes blazing. He sniffed disdainfully at the border markers,wrinkling his nose at the stench. ThunderClan... he thought,narrowing his eyes.

The light gray smaller tom, stalked beside his brother, his white chest glowing silver in the fragile light of the crescent moon shrouded by the storm. He shook rain off of his pelt and inched over the ThunderClan border, ignoring his brothers evil look, he leaped on to a fallen tree covered in moss and looked to the sky, the leaves of the tree stopped the rain from hitting and he smiled watching his brother wallow in the mud, still all serious.

[Naruto]

"I'm glad to see you've finally joined me,brother." The darker gray tom growled,his amber eyes glinting. He lowered his head,sniffing the border marks again. "Ugh,ThunderClan!"he groaned,lashing his long tail.

Clovernose lay at the border's edge looking out. Where are you? she thought. How come she never saw him? How come she always tried to? He could be dead and she'd sit out here for days and days looking waiting. Every time just made her more and more depressed and more and more paranoid.

Her ears perked when she heard a noise. Was that him! Finally! She scented the air to back herself up. She couldn't recognize it, but maybe his scent changed! Yes, yes, that had to be it! Clovernose got up quickly and bounded over near the scent. It's him! It's got to be! Clover nose burst through a bush, right where the scent was. All her excitement faded when she saw some unknow cat, wrinkling his knows at the scent marks.

"Wh-Who are you?" She asked taking the sadness out of her voice quickly. She looked to the side to see another cat, on a tree. He wasn't the tom she was looking for either. Who were these cats?

The light gray tom known as Gizmo twisted round at the sound of a new cat, obviously crestfallen at something or another. The young cat cocked his head to on side, he sat on his haunches calmly having his tail wrapped around his paws. And his white chest puffed out, making him look proud. But really the young tom with a stunted growth was just trying to look big.

[Naruto]

"Brother,"said the darker tom,smiling. "It seems we have a guest. A rather pretty one too."he said,looking her over. He caught her eyes and smiled,taking all hostility out of his gaze. "Oh stop trying to look bigger,"he growled at his brother.

Clovernose sniffed at the two toms. They didn't smell familiar. Loners maybe? She smiled when the first tom called her pretty. She always thought her mothers pure, rich white fur was beautiful, and her parents said she looked just like her that must have meant she was pretty, no? She looked over at the toms... brother. He looked more proud than trying to make himself bigger. She chuckled then. The longer she looked at him the sillier her looked.

Clovernose looked back at the first, darker tom. The one that complimented on her looks. "So, who are you two? And what are you doing here?" She asked with a tilted of her head and a blink of her green eyes.

[Naruto]

The dark tom grinned. "I am Church,and this is my brother,Gizmo. We have just come here from out of town." He tilted his head,looking at her with bright amber eyes.

Shinespark raced up to Clovernose....What was she doing here? I though she was going hunting or something. She raced up to her side, then noticed two strange toms.... Did she now them.... They are not clan...

"Clovernose, who are you 'friends'?" she leaned over and whisperd in Clovernose's ear. "Do you know them?" she asked.

"Well, hello Church, Gizmo," she gave a respectful dip of her head to each cat when she stated their names. "Out of town?" Well, that must mean they were loners. What else could they be? Out of town meant not here, a different place. Maybe that's what he meant, right? "Are you two perhaps, Loners?"

Clovernose looked back calmly when Shinespark arrived. "Hm? Oh this is Church," she pointed her head to the tom, "and Gizmo," she pointed her head to the other. "No, not at all. I just met them a few seconds ago," she whispered back.

[Naruto]

"Loners? Oh no,most of you prefer to call us rouges." and Church beamed at them,swishing his tail. "Are you,maybe,ThunderClan?"

"Rogues?" That means they were savy on the clan lifestyle. That broke her spirits a little, but she quickly shrugged it off. Oh well. "What clan were you from?" Clovernose lifted her ears at the toms question. "Yes, we are ThunderClan."

"Umm....Hello Church and Gizmo...." she dipped her head towards the two toms....."Let them stay, not like they will cause anyone trouble by it. They seem to be nice cats who just need a place to stay for a night or two. Not much trouble.... A voice whisperd in her head, but she wasn't sure it was right.

"Why are you on ThunderClan territory..?" she meowed calmly try to be-friend the travelers.

[Naruto]

"We were kittypets."Church replied simply. He sat down,eyeing the ThunderClan cats. He sniffed,refusing to answer the other cat's question. "Who are you?"

Clovernose nodded her head in response. Kittypets, of course. There was more than one way to be rogues. This news made her a little happy. She was going to be a kittypet once, she almost did too, but... She shook her head taking the memories away, she was with someone now. Anyways, she could ask these cats what the kittypet life was like. It must not have been so good if they aren't there anymore. "What's being a kittypet like?" She wondered with another tilt of her head. She didn't really care why these cats were here they seemed so interesting.

[Naruto]

"Well,if you have a kind two-leg,wonderful. We had great two-legs. They fed us every night,and they comforted us when there was a storm,much like this one."Church sighed. "They were young two-legs,I believe their names were Lennon and Cassie,they talked to us and were wonderful. My two-leg was the yellow haired one named Cassie,and Gizmo's was a brown haired one named Lennon."

"Ah." Clover nose thought about what it was like as a kittypet yellow and brown pelted twolegs. The images in her mind seemed great. Twlegs giving you vole and mice every night, no hassle. Even being comforted when scared. That seemed great. She wanted to try it for herself if only... She shook her head again. "Well, if it was so great then... why did you leave?" She didn't get that it puzzled her. why leave such a great place?

Shinespark nodded and listen to their converstation.....It was some-what interesting. I wonder why they left.....? "Umm.... yea why?" she asked try to invite herself into the chatting.....

[Naruto]

"They left us. My two-leg said to me,before a storm,"This is the last time." and then,a moon later,they left. But they gave us plenty of food before they left. We just came out here because we ran out of it." Church said sadly.

"Oh," Clovernose said lettign her ears fall back. That wasn't good, not at all. How could that have happened? They just left without much of a goodbye. Just "This is the last time." Clovernose lifted her ears again with realization. He knows what they said to him!? He can speak twoleg! That was... different. Clovernose didn't ask them about it, she didn't think she should. She didn't know if she should try and comfort the tom, she didn't know if it was welcome or not.

"Are you in need of a place to stay?"

[Naruto]

Church glanced at his brother. "What should we tell her?"he asked in a low voice,shooting a glance at the others. While he waited for his brother to respond,he asked the she-cats,"What are your names? Such pretty faces must have beautiful names."

Clovernose smiled at Church's question. "I'm Clovernose," she responded, "And that's Shinespark." She introduced the she-cat because she wasn't sure she'd actually answer. She didn't answer the first time, why would she the second?

"Like Clovernose said I am Shinespark...Thank-you for the complement." Shinespark got hot red with embarssment, what would Clovernose do if they needed a place to stay???

[Naruto]

"Ah,Clovernose and Sparkshine. What pretty names,"Church purred. His tail twitched. "Are you alright?"he asked in concern for Shinespark. "You don't look well."

"I am fine....." she reasured Church, she was fine just a bit flatterd by his remarks. What should we do with them....?
