Raintalons hunt

[Raintalon]

Light rain drizzles down upon Raintalons gray fur as he crept through the forest from the dusk sky. Thousands of thing moved, but none could be pinpointed where. Creeping through some bracken, he spots a plump chipmunk nibbling on a nut. This was his chance to prove that he was worthy to his new clan. Fully alert and putting all his skills from the past at the front of his brain and the tip of his claws, he slowly stalked ahead closer and closer to the chipmunk. Getting in position, his eye on nothing but the prey, he wriggled his haunchs and leapt with complete accuracy and power, landing right on the spot the chipmunk had been. Alarmed the chipmunk had darted away toward the bushes, but Raintalon was too fast. He sprinted forward and leaped onto it, killing it with one swift and punishing blow. Proud of this accomplishment, he kicked some dirt over the plump and juicy kill and walked on into the shadows for another. Spotting a squirrel, he practiced the same routine as earlier and leapt, but the squirrel was fast. Very fast. Almost as if it were waiting, it bolted as soon as he leapt. Frusterated, he didnt give up. He gave chase after the squirrel, unaware of any noises or scents as his ears pounded and his mouth gasped for air. Without warning, a hostile voice hissed, "where do you think you're going?". The scents around him werent thunderclans.. They were.. Something else.. (cat can be anyone)
