Branchpaw ran through the thick forest, weaving through trees. The wind weaved through his fur as he rushed through it, and his tail sailed behind him as if it were a passenger on his ride.

He loved to run, feeling the wind in his face and through his fur. It always got his blood pumping, his energy to rise. More than half the time it left him itching for a fight, just to let the energy out. There wasn't any other way he could do it, it had to be a fight. nothing else would suffice. Maybe a spar, but it wouldn't get it out like a good fight. And boy, did he love having those.

Branchkit jumped over a bush and skidded to a halt. A finish at the border, he thought. A grin began to spread across his face. Quickly he turned and took off again, heading right back to camp. Maybe I'll try running across the entire territory next time, he laughed at the thought and kept running back, faster now, to camp.
