Treehunter squinted his eyes, un-nerved by the reason for their coming. Leopardstrike was one of his only 'friends' in this camp and he quite liked him. "No ThunderClan cat murdered your deputy." The elderly tom hissed, hackles raising. Calming himself and sitting back down, Treehunter spoke more softly.

"I thought you would have seen that Spiralkit. Or Robinkit would have spoke to the animals who may have seen. Or Ebonykit would have known already. Maybe I overestimated you kits ... I thought your powers were stronger ..."

Foxkit sighed, no answers. He turned to Leopardstrike. "Looks like we have to go back... All that was for nothing.."

"But we know for one thing... That Jadeclaw wasn't killed by any ThunderClan cat, now, we need to find out who killed him. And that means getting back to RiverClan, we will take your advice Treehunter and use our... 'Powers' to find out the killer. And we give the evidence to Shadowstar, hopefully before the battle between our clans are sparked." mewed Spiralkit already trotting out of the fallen oak tree.

Leopardstrike who was quiet deciphering the facts, of their powers, and who was who. "I guess I'll escort you to the border... But you'll have to find our own way to camp, and hopefully you won't get lost. Follow me."

Treehunter nodded towards the cats, a farewell.
"Good-bye young kits. It was a pleasure speaking with you. If you have any questions ... my den is always open to you." He murmured, sad to see them go. "Good luck." He whispered.

"Goodbye!" Fockit called back his last farewell to the Elder. The gray tabby kit bounded across to the Warrior, tail straight up in the air.

"Good bye?"Robinkit mewed in a confused voice. She padded slowly out of the den,her mind wandering. Talk to other animals? Huh,that'll be about as useful as being able to transform into a mouse. she thought bitterly. Spiralkit and Ebonykit got cool powers. She had to visit Treehunter again. She was starting to like the old cat.
