Silverstar padded slowly into the apprentice den, ducking her head as the branches swung dangerously low to her petite frame. Looking at a particular apprentice in particular, the she-cat spoke loudly to the cat. "Rainpaw! It's about time you become a warrior. You have trained long and hard."

Rainpaw looked up,her mouth dropped. "Really? Alright!"she purred with enthusiasm. She looked around the den,at the old nests. I'll miss it here,but I get to join my best friend in the warriors den! "I'll be right out,"she promised,starting to groom her fur.

Silverstar giggled softly at the cat's enthusiasm; ears twitching with glee. ThunderClan was to be strong. Very strong indeed. "Yes Rainpaw. And one day in the future you shall mentor your own apprentice." Her voice was soft, motherly again. "I will get ready for the ceremony. See you in a little bit."

Rainpaw nodded and licked a tuft of fur on her chest,trying to get it to lie flat. She washed until her fur sparkled,the white in her fur looking like snow amidst rocks in leafbare. She shivered with excitement,and bounded out of the den.
