Tortoiseshell fur flashed,twisting in on it's self and raking the soil. Rainpaw stood,scrambling up from the dusty ground. She panted happily,knowing she completed the move perfectly. Deep clawmarks scored the ground,and she sat,satisfied.

Rainpaw nodded to her mentor,bunching her muscles. She leaped in the air,flipping to protect her belly and raking the ground with thorn sharp claws. She hit the ground on her paws,facing the scratches. She crouched again,going over the move in her head to try and spot any weak points. 'Lopsided twist,and the claw-rake needs more power,'she corrected herself. She lunged into the air,twisting and putting a lot of force into the blow,creating a deep gash in the earth. She turned,panting,to Moonfur.
