Hunting [Leopardstrike]

Rainpelt raced across ThunderClans hunting grounds, she decided to take him to the RiverClan border. The she-cat stopped, here would be a good spot. With prey scents filling her nose, she wanted Leopardstrike to hurry up.

"Hurry up." she called to behind her.

Leopardstrike followed scowling angrily. She's treating me like a kit, and even worse like an apprentice again. He thought to himself, digging his claws into the leaves to calm himself. Speeding up a little bit, he suddenly realized where he was. Only a few fox lengths from the RiverClan border. The faint scents of the previous battle were still around, though the distinguishing smell of the cats were gone. Shaking his head to get rid of the images of the dying Mountainpaw. He scented the air... Vole. He licked his whiskers in anticipation. He couldn't wait to sink his teeth into the creature.

"Come and sit." she meowed. Rainpelt need to become friends with the rude tom, she would like to understand him and figure him out.

SHORTNESS

At Rainpelts voice his prey vanished. He sighed depressingly. It looked the prey would not be fed. Padding over to Rainpelt reluctantly, he sat by the she-cat his tail wrapped around his paws staring intently over the border just hoping he could catch a glimpse of Blossompaw. But what was he thinking Blossompaw was gone, Leopardstrike would never see her again and he was glad he wouldn't.

"Please tell me if you think I am treating you unfairly, but you have been nothing but grouchy and mean this past moon, not many of your clan-mates will talk to you (except your an girls XD), and not many of them want to be around you. What is wrong?" she asked.

"I wonder what she's doing." murmured Leopardstrike ignoring Rainpelt completely and staring out across the border, visions of meeting Blossompaw, her sweet scent, her beautiful cream pelt. And then Silverstar's words, echoed in his head: meeting with cats from other clans just causes pain. Maybe she was right. "It all happened half a moon ago. A cream tabby she-cat named, Blossompaw of RiverClan, 'accidentally' wandered into ThunderClan territory. I knew I should of chased her off, but there was something about her, that told me I couldn't hurt her. She left eventually, but for three nights I couldn't stop thinking about her, I couldn't forget her, every part of her was beautiful. When we met again, Silverstar, Silvercloud then, sort of broke us up, but we loved each other. We kept meeting in secret, until her brother Mountainpaw came along, and wrecked it. Thats when the border scuffle happened, I nearly killed Mountainpaw, and he revealed our secret. And Blossompaw disappeared."

"Well Sliverstar has a very good point, her pain and hurt almost destoried her, she was completly heart-broken. The whole Clan was mad at her, including me. I regret it. Love is love, but you should have feeling for someone in your Clan, no one can hold it against you, you loved her." she meowed.

Leopardstrike snorted, "Who else could there possibly be?..." he murmured. Moonpaw for one thing. But even she's out of reach. the voice in the back of his head whispered to him. Leopardstrike closed his eyes, erasing the sadness in his mind and replacing it with fury, and anger. Fighting was his way out, which was probably the only reason he had few friends, he was too busy thinking about his mistakes to look to the future.

"Don't worry you will eventully find someone of your own to love, even Sliverstar doesn't have a mate, but she believes that she will find someone to love. You need to focaus on friends, love and being a warrior, don't think about your past." she meowed. Rainpelt only wanted Leopardstrike to e happy with one he loved.

"Love... Who needs it." He yowled turning away from the she-cat, anger piercing his face. He was tired of being controlled by his feelings, he was tired of love, of friendship, of anything with other people. He just wanted to be alone.

Rainpelt walk over to where Leopardstrike stopped, he seemd very upset.

"Do you still wanna hunt." she asked.

"Not really." he mewed quietly closing his eyes to clear his thoughts. Breathing in and out deeply.

"Well, I don't know what to say, would you like to go back to camp?" she asked.
