Moonpaw's talk with Aspenleaf.

Moonpaw was sorting Herbs when she heard Aspenleaf come in. "So, are you going to tell me where you from. Like if you are a cat who was sent into exile, maybe?"

Aspenleaf sat near where Moonpaw was sorting herbs and listened to her question.
"I was never in a Clan." he answered simply.

Moonpaw was puzzled. "Then why do you have a clan name?" Her anger had melted away, and was replaced with curiousity.

Silvercloud followed the two cats the Medicine den, hesitating slightly at the entrance, wondering if she was welcome. Deciding to go in, she strolled casually in.

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Aspenleaf looked over as Silvercloud ambled into the den. Turning back to Moonpaw, he hesitated.
"Before my mother died, she said that she had told me all the Clan stories so I could try to find them." he shuffled his paws. "So I wouldn't have to live the life that she had lived."
"So the afternoon she died, I vowed to find them, the Clans, to fullfill her request. And to start, I gave myself a clan name."

Moonpaw pondered for a moment. "You know, you've probably ruined your chance to get in our clan since you attacked an already weak queen who had just given birth. Speaking of that, why did you attack her?"

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Aspenleaf huffed angrily at the question. "Are apprentices always so inquisitive?" he closed his eyes to calm down. "It was a misunderstanding. I'm sorry."

"Nope, just me. Thats what you get for angering a medicince cat apprentice!"

[DOCTA OCTAGONAPUS]

Aspenleaf laughed inwardly. "May I leave now, oh mighty medicine cat apprentice?" he snorted. Not waiting for an answer, he padded out of the den, looking for Silvercloudstar.

Moonpaw chuckled, "That is fine, o-wierd one!" She called after him as he padded out of the den she shared with nightleaf.
