Griffinpaw didn't look toward Cloudfrost, but what he said was directed to him. "Too many." he growled, waiting for the others to back off.

Thrushflame felt eyes burning on his pelt and swivled his head around to see Hollypaw looking at him, he growled and showed his fangs to her, his eyes glaring back.

"Hm?" Leafpaw mewed when she felt her brother's nudge. She wasn't paying attention, she was.. captivated. "Oh yes! It's great!" She looked around at everything and all the cats. They all seemed so great and happy and wonderful and.... informational. What could she learn about cats here? THat they aren't as mean as they seem? Prolly. "I can't wait for this to start!

"Just me," Branchtwist growled. Well... and Paintpaw too, but... Still. He wasn't one to fight, but today was just an example of why he didn't want to be here. Maybe he should just go, but then he'd give that stupid little apprentice something to gloat about, and he didn't want to do that. But, really, whatever. Who cared? Well, maybe he did, a little, but he wasn't going to get in a fight with this cat. He had better sense than that.

Hollypaw turned away, feeling anger scorch her pelt. What was wrong with him?! She had barely known him for three moons and he hated her guts!

"Oh, no actually. I'm just a little... marvled is all." This place was more or less of what she expected, but it was still great. And to think! She hand't even gotton on the other side yet! What was on the other side!? More trees, and new opening for other cats!? What! What! "C'mon! Rockpaw!" She laughed before bounding off again, trying to see the whole circle of the place.

Thrushflame redirected his gaze back at the stars, So calming... he thought to himself. He struggled not to smile. He wasn't sure why he was mean to Hollypaw, well, he was mean to everyone really, but still, she was his apprentice. He should probably learn to control his temper.

Griffinpaw growled, "Yeah, but I still say there's too many." he snarled, he faked a lunge toward the crowd of cats, trying to scare them away. Of course he wasn't going to attack them, not yet anyway.

Branchtwist gave Griffonpaw a weird look. StarClan that cat was odd, doing wierd moves and such. He didn't realize it was a fake, he just thought he was being weird now. Oh... geez. Maybe he ran out of ideas or something. "ShadowClan cats are just crazy," he muttered before walking calmly away. Now... a place to sit.

Sandfur looked around the groups of cats. If her kits could be here, too! They would be surprised how many cats lived here in this territory. He decided to take her place and waited for the leaders to begin. She didn't want to chat right now.

Griffinpaw replayed what he did in his head, jerking forward, trying to look like he was about to lunge at someone. I looked like I was having ceasers for StarClan's sake! "I'm glad your blind." he growled, half to himself.

"I'm not." Cloudfrost grumped, shaking the rain from his fur. Even though he was blind, he'd refused to become a medicine cat, and trained as a full warrior. He was as good as any full-bodied warrior here. Except, in a real battle, his senses were mauled and he could barely do anything but get clawed and bitten. The smells and sounds were too much. Kinda like now. He couldn't tell if he was surrounded or not, how many cats were there. But it'd die down soon, and he could navigate just as well as he could in camp.

Smoketail streaked into the Gathering place, his heart heavy. He'd had to lead WindClan to the Gathering again, Wolfstar not appearing when he'd gathered the warriors he was taking. He gave a respectful nod to the other deputies and clawed his way up the tree, standing on one of the lower branches, it's bark still black and charred from the fire that had ravaged this place two moons ago. The large gray tomcat sat down, curling his tail over his paws as he stared out over the other Clans. Hopefully there would be no questions about why Wolfstar wasn't here.

Shadedthorn, a monsterous shadow, silently stalked into the Gathering place, in a particularily foul mood that night, following behind Smoketail. Wolfstar must be pretty damn sick not to be here for two moons in a row. Last life? Probably. Smoketail would make a good leader. The tomcat shrugeed his massive shoulders and continued towards the tree, stopping for a slight second to growl at a ShadowClan apprentice with a nasty scowl and unsheathed claws. Not only that, but he was scaring all the other clans. Hopefully Shadedthorn's stature would put the apprentice back into place.

His eyes flashed and he flicked his cone-shaped ears, matching the cat's unsheathed claws as his paw thudded down less than a tail-length from his. Shadedthorn reached the tree, tremendous branches spiraling above, making him feel small and puny, and sat on his hind legs, eyes slitted and no beings making any move to talk to him, so far.

Griffinpaw rose to his feet, a insulted growl rising from his throat, rumbling until that's all he could hear. "Who does he think he is?" Griffinpaw snarled, "I hope he comes onto our territory when I'm around, I'd teach him a lesson he wouldn't soon forget." he boasted, truly furious with the cocky cat that had past him.

Goldenstorm followed Smoketail into the clearing, wishing his old friend Badgerclaw was at his side. He held his head high though he still limped a bit and his belly agitated him somewhat. His heather eyes held a happy gaze as he viewed every cat in the clearing, everything seemed relatively peaceful at the moment. He wondered what to do next.

Mosspaw beamed after his leader, until he smelled many different smells. These all smelled like the border markings, but all at once? Was this a gathering? He poked his head through the wall of plants surrounding it, and he saw so many cats, some young as apprentices, some old as elders, all in the same place, just because Starclan said so. It surprised him that such a crowd could stay orderly, considering they were all split up into groups. He scanned over the clearing for a nice, welcoming group of apprentices to talk to.

So.... Gathering time. This would be his first time speaking. Yeah! It was his first time at the Gathering... actually... yeah, wait, no no, the last Gathering was his first. This was the second Gathering. He was still new to the speech thing. Maybe he could keep it into the same context as the last one. RiverClan had not yet arrived. Where were they? What was holding them up? Their absence made his pelt bristle. They were wasting moonlight, maybe he should just start.

Littlestar walked to the edge of his branch. Well, here goes. Now, what to say again? Er... "I think it's time to start this," he started, "FireClan has been doing great. We have found prey well enough to keep us sustained for many moons. Our warriors and apprentices are doing well, especially mentors with their pupils. Soon enough we will have new apprentices to add to our growing list of warriors." With that little informant he stepped back on the branch, giving a quick check of the moon. It still shone bright. He hadn't done anything wrong, it seemed.

Smoketail dipped his head. "I'm glad to hear that FireClan is well, Littlestar," he purred, his eyes gleaming with their usual star-lit sparkle. He stepped forwards, more confident than he was at the last Gathering. "WindClan will speak next. Wolfstar is at camp again this time because of his own choice. We have several new apprentices. Coalkit, Poppykit, Cobrakit, Celestialkit, Scarletkit, and Azurekit are now all 'Paws. We also have one new warrior. Birchpaw is now Birchfoot."

He dipped his head, twitching his ears. "The lack of prey has taken it's toll on us, but, with NewLeaf here and warming the moor, it is returning swiftly." With that he ended his report.

Sandfur laid her head to one side. Why are they all pretendig life is all good here? We all know that the weather will starve us sooner or later, because of the vanishing prey. If we don't do something fast they will kill us all with their stubborness., she thought. Maybe it was time that someone finally said her thoughts. She hoped that Silverstar would be the one. The other clans would soon after admit their weakness, too, and then they could think of a way to solve this problem together. As one, as cats, not as seperated clans.

Goldenstorm sat down, his belly wounds healing dramatically. He hadn't felt this good in weeks, ever since New-Leaf arrived. Yesterday, he was able to a have a whole rabbit! All to himsel! Though he knew WindClan was still suffering a bit.

Vixenstep sat next to Goldenstorm, looking at him fondly. "They're lying again," she said, her eyes flickering over to the Tree. Her eyes strayed back to her friend's before she looked up again, searching for Smoketail's gray pelt against the leaves.
