Lonepaw gasped. "But you're supposed to follow the rules! Without rules, there is no orer! And everything will go crazy!" Oh StarClan. These cats didn't follow the rules!? Did that mean they didn't follow the code? The code was the rules after all, and you have to folow the code, no matter what! Breaking the rules was like asking to be sent to the Dark Forest, right!

Batpaw scowled. "Yeah, so what? Kits break the rules all the time. So do warriors. Big whoop. So why can't we?" He lunged forwards, aiming to unbalance Deathpaw by headbutting his shoulder.

"Because ktis are kits. And warriors.... they didn't learn when they were apprentices and the habit stuck." Lonepaw tilted his head thoughtfully. "And you're not supposed to do that to set an example for the other kits and apprentices!" He paused. "Or... something like that. You just don't do it, okay!?"

"Says StarClan's pet." Batpaw stopped and cast a golden-eyed scowl at his Clanmate. "I don't really care if the kits think it a bad habit! If they're mouse-brain enough to follow what I do then maybe they should learn from me!"

Deathpaw gave a hiss, and lept back, taking advantege of the short rest. He began to shake his injured leg, losening it. "Rules are ment to be broken anyway."

Tigerpaw lunged into the fighting along side Deathpaw, "Honestly, who cares?" She called to Lonepaw. She watched Batpaw carefuly as he moved and ran past hoping to rake her sheathed claws down his side.

"Rules are meant to be followed!" Lonepaw exclaimed. How could they not see that? Why make a rule if they just wanted it to be broken!? That didn't add up, it didn't flow logically in his head, not at all! Lonepaw glared at Tigerpaw. "I do," he said firmly.

Lonepaw rolled his eyes. "No one is going to get hurt by whatever move you guys decide to tumble by with," Lonepaw mewed uncharacteristicly. It's not like they were actually doing that much. They were just kind of.. flippin' arounf or something. "Told you you should have gone to the hollow."

Deathpaw gave a sigh. "Fine. Another day." He licked his lips, and for the first time realized he was bleeding. He hadn't even felt pain. Had Batpaw even cut his face?
