Barkfur made her way through the clearing, still silently letting the wet teardrops fall into her fur. She shoved into the Warrior's Den and curled up, ready to sleep. She wanted to be left alone.

Fellmoon, wishing to give it one move try. walked up beside her. He didn't say anything, knowing it could just make it worse. But he does lay beside her with a sigh, he puts his tail on her back.

Barkfur sighed deeply, not showing her face to him. "I'm sorry," she mewed, almost a whisper "I just...." she cut off, thinking of what to say. "I just love him so much, I want to be able to be with him. But I just can't." she ended. Her heart ached with despair as the kits kicked once more.

"It's okay",Fellmoon says beside her and then continues, "You have made your choose, there is no turning back, we can only hope that it will all work out". Fellmoon ask Starclan, for her sake, it does work out.

"Thank you Fellmoon. I couldn't ask more from a friend." Barkfur looked up at Fellmoon. She felt hope shining through her fur, as a new respect bloomed for Fellmoon. She wondered if she could keep a secret with the tom. "Can I trust you?" she mewed quietly, seriousness threaded in every word.

Fellmoon thinks for a moment, knowing he could be putting his loyalty in even more danger... but finally says simply, "Yes".

Barkfur thought for another long moment, letting silence take hold for a few hearbeats. She looked back at Fellmoon, her eyes set with determination and her face written with seriousness. "I'm going back to see him."

Fellmoon sigh because by now he has given out the hope that Barkfur would leave this be, "When and where, so I can make sure no other cat comes apian you".

Barkfur shook her head, "No, I don't need any of that. I just need your word you won't betray my trust." she mewed. "Please Fellmoon, once every moon won't cut it, and my kits are coming soon. I want him to be there when it comes time to name them." she pleaded.

Fellmoon thinks for a moment longer, knowing what dangers could come before them, says too things, "I promise I will say nothing, but if Silverstar ever asks me if I know who your mate is, I will tell him I know but cannot say, and that it is for you to tell.
But what if he requires me to say who the father of you kits are, what should I tell him?"

"You know as well as I queens aren't required to say who the father of her kits are. I'll just keep that a secret." Barkfur smiled with cunning. "Why would Silverstar, out of all cats, ask you anything about me anyway?" she questioned Fellmoon, looking up at him.

"Mainly that would be for if any cat grows to suspect you, and goes to Silverstar. I just wished to being careful and prepare that is all. Or we would need to have the Clan believe that we are not close, because the way I see it, if any cat suspects you, they will go to the one closest to them and asks questions, does that make sense", he asks.
ooc: to put it simply, I'm making Fellmoon be just a bit paranoid. He is scared some cat will find out.

Barkfur let a mrrow of laughter slip through her lips as she smiled at Fellmoon. "Don't be so worried. I'll be fine, and so will you." she mewed. "We can still be friends, just don't act like you did something, because you didn't."

Fellmoon gives an embarrassment grin, he says to his friend, “I’ll do my best not to, and to be honest, I’m glad. I like having you as a friend”.
ooc: what time of day would it be right now, if it is like just the afternoon, I think I will have Fellmoon track down Dewpaw for a bit of hunting.

Barkfur nodded, "Good. Why don't you go hunting or something? I need to catch up on some sleep, today was tiring." she admitted, trying to persuade him to find something to occupy himself.

"I will go look for Dewpaw, I think I heard that he was running in cycles and saying my name over and over again", Fellmoon says to the she-cat as he stands up.

Barkfur chuckled. "I wouldn't doubt it. You'd better hurry before that cat looses his mind."
