Snowpaw awoke, and padded into the clearing. He pawed the ground, feeling the moisture. He felt his white paw squish into some softer ground, leaving a paw print. He examined the print.
Four points, his claws, had punctured the soft ground like a mouse. His pads were rather large, and scored the earth with his signature. Snowpaw's ear flicked, and he looked around the clearing. He was quite bored, and he knew that the Clan needed some prey. Permission from a warrior was needed...

Skull was lurking around camp, his heart aglow. Spiderfang was finally his...
Skull's tail brushed the ground as he saw the apprentice, Snowpaw, leave the apprentices den. He eyed the young white tom suspiciously, as the apprentice had left for ThunderClan earlier, claiming he had been out of his mind. Skull found it hard to trust him.
"Snowpaw..." Skull meowed, padding up to the apprentice. "Where are you going?"

Snowpaw turned to see the huge warrior, Skull. His spirit faltered a bit as he looked into Skull's pure white face and purple eyes.
"Hunting." Snowpaw nearly stammered, but had kept his voice under control.

Skull eyed Snowpaw again, but then decided that the Clan needed food.
"Well, all right, then. See that you actually bring some prey back."

Snowpaw nodded.
"Yes, Skull."
Then the apprentice turned tail and headed out of camp, not aware that that may have been the last time he would ever see DarkClan again...
