Fernkit leapt after Duskkit solomly. "I hate apprentices, think they are warriors already!" She huffed knowing she would be one one day.

Crowpaw sighed.
"I don't think I'm a warrior. I don't know how to be a warrior, just like you don't know how to be an apprentice. You're kits; You can't go out of camp. It's the rules." Crowpaw walked into camp at that second, fuming a bit.

Gingersnow looked curiously at the black-furred apprentice.

Littlestar walked out of the cave entrance, a thoughtful look on his face. He pondered his decisions for today and tomorrow. A meeting needed to be held, and others soon. Apprentices where soon to be made, maybe warriors, he wasn't sure. He had an apprentice he needed to train, and then he had other matters to deal with concerning patrols the would need to be made not too long a time. Then there was this winter, the shortage of food, and the possible onslaught of Greencough; these heavy burdens and more where weighing on his shoulders.

The role of leader was a hard one, there was always something to do, always a decisions to make, demands to be answered, negatively or not. He had a very urgent decision to make in not too long a time. Three cats, one adult, two kits, what would he do with them? And their brining of Greencough? He felt he already had a decision, but even with that, he wasn't sure he should make it. He had to do what was best for the clan, and make sure everyone was at peace, but what if they weren't from the decisions he made? What would the arrival instigate?

He was thinking in the wrong direction. Or was he? At the moment, he needed someone other than his deputy to help him with these tough task.

Littlestar's expression made a change of ponder before itr went back to his previous steps, and he started to walk....

Mudpaw bounded up to Littlestar, relieved to see someone who might know what to do. "Littlestar!" He exclaimed, "There's a loner down on Sunning Beach, Hollypaw is with them, come quick, and I'll explain on the way. I don't think the loner can talk, and they act very puzzled, though not very aggressive. I really don't know what to do... Will you help?"

Littlestar screwed his face with puzzlement when he looked down at Mudpaw after his little explaination. He wasn't really paying attention, too busy thinking about this and that. He could barely even recall what Mudpaw had said to him. All her herd was the word help and then he say Mudpaw there. Well, whatever it was, it had to have been something urgent because the tom was looking quite worried.

"I'm sorry... what?" He siad with a faraway voice.

Crowpaw padded into camp, eyeing the she-cat behind her with a green gaze.
"Don't flip out or anything." Crowpaw meowed sternly.

Gingersnow snorted.
"Hah! Why would I attack my own Clan?"

Crowpaw still doubted weather the she-cat had been in FireClan or not. Suddenly, she spotted Littlestar, and her fur drooped a bit. What would he say to her when she had just brought a rogue into camp? She would be cleaning out the elder's den for a moon! It was good that there were no elders, but she wasn't thinking about that now.

Duskkit clambered onto her leader's head and whiuspered into his ear, "Crowpaw and I saw a weird cat. She smells funny." She yawned and looked around, seeing the apprentice. "Crowpaw will you tell Littlestar about the funny cat?" The kit asked, tilting her head and falling off Littlestar's head.

Crowpaw eyed her leader nervously. "Right behind me." She nodded to the she-rogue behind her.

Gingersnow sniffed.
"I only smell funny because of this dumb weather. What are you, kit, a patch of roses?" Gingersnow meowed, tail lashing just about as much as her attitude.
"Anyway, am I allowed to speak, oh mighty Crowpaw apprentice?" She glared at Crowpaw.

Crowpaw glared right back at her. She didn't really like the idea of this rogue coming back to FireClan.

"I'm Fernkit!" Fernkit called not realizing the question wasn't directed at her. She hopped in front of Duskkit and looked her face up and down. "I thought you knew my name?" She mewed.

Littlestar, still a little dazed as other cats seemed to just appear around him. He was a little confused with the kits and Crowpaw and some other cat he didn't know.

Wait... some other cat? Not another one to deal with. He already had three with greencough. He looked over at the newer cat. She looked.... a little familiar, but maybe it was just her fur.

"Hm..." He wasn't exactly sure how to go about this, but there was some reason behind it all so... it seemed like there'd be another tripe to his den.

"You can speak when we get into my den," he told the newer cat. "Fernkit, Duskkit, you can meet the new cat later, we need to talk right now." With a sigh he started off to his den, waving with his tail for Crowpaw and the other cat to follow.

Crowpaw looked at the kits with a triumphant look. She got to see Littlestar's den when they didn't! The very thought made her feel like a warrior already. But she realized again that she was just a mere apprentice who might get in trouble for bringing a rogue here.

Gingersnow fought the urge to speak now at this very second. However, she didn't want to offend or anger this new leader in any way. Her heart sank in dismay. Where was Flamestar?
