Blacksnow stepped into the clearing. SHe had smelt that there where new cats in the clan, but calmly the Fireclan deputy walked up to the fresh kill pile, dropped the small mouse she was carring and only then turrned to look at her clanmates. "WHat appears to be the problem?" She asked.

Ferretflight turned to her deputy. "We have new cats seeking refuge." she pointed to the cats she was trying to guide into the Medicine Den. "A queen and her kits need our help. Their names are Sorrel, Lion, and Cinder." she pointed to the cats in the order she spoke their names.

"I just need everyone to clear." she gave a little cough, for dramatical reasons of course. "I just need Cinder in my den." and with that she flicked her tail in motion for the kit to follow.

Ferretflight dipped her head. "She fell on the river, she's soaked through." she informed Sapphirewing, turning to help the other two.

Blacksnow nodded thoughtfully. "Well, its not up to me, but I think that we should allow them to stay'. AT least as long as it takes for Cinder to get better."

"Good." Ferretflight replied, again trying to nudge the queen and her kits in the right direction with her auburn shoulder.

"We are all in a bad way. Lion has been coughing and so have I." Sorrel meowed. Then turning to the 'medicine cat' she spoke.
"She fell onto the ice and it cracked, she fell into the water." She meowed, her voice shook with worry.

Ferretflight had lost her patience, agitation pricking at her fur. "Sorrel," she started lightly. "explanations can be made later, now we must get you well." her tail was whipping back and forth.

Shadefall gave her a helpless look. He could do nothing. If he made the cats stay out of camp,then they would surely die. But if he left them here,would they be attacked? Had they doomed them to a worse fate?

Sorrel looked at the agitated clan cats but knew better then to ask what was wrong. They would tell her if it was anything of a concern to her.
"Oh, ah yeah." She meowed trying to pick up both her kits but stumbling weakly. She hoped they would help her. She knew they weren't heartless monsters, at lest most of them weren't.

Sapphirewing went over to Sorrel's side and picked up Cinder, the cold kit who had fallen into icey cold water. "Just follow me, and we can settle you all into my den." she gave a confident meow and slowly padded away. Her neck ached from the small bundle of sopping wet fur.

Sorrel looked at the she cat that had picked up Cinder. her eyes shone with gratitude. Sorrel followed her holding Lion. She caught up to her and mewed,
"May I know your name?"

Black claws slid in as the feline landed on the ground silently. There was no need to use her claws; not when there were kits around. Whiskers twitched, and snowy white fur with ginger gleamed healthily in the sun.
But she was not calm yet. After a moon or so of watching FireClan, her old Clan, she could tell that Flamestar was no longer around. Her whiskers had drooped at the thought, but never mind that.
Courage seared through the she-cat. Her tail lashed, and her amber eyes glowed. She knew she would be discovered, but that was what she wanted. If she had to defend herself, she would.

"I only want to do what is best for my kits." Sorrel mewed to Saphirewing. Her eyes were dropping from lack of sleep and her thin pelt was hardly ideal for such cold conditions.

I'm so tempted to say no....

Littlestar stepped into camp with a mouth full of feathers as he brought in one of the last stray birds probably left in the territory. It was small, not big enough for a good meal, but it'll do. He walked in slowly, scanning the cats who were there. Ravenflight, Sapphirewing, Blacksnow, and others. With them as well were three cats who he didn't know, had never seen before, and scents didn't match theirs, nor the other clans. It seemed to be... oh... a mix of sorts? Loners, he assumed. Why were they here? He wasn't sure of that, but by the looks of them, they weren't too healthy. They probably stumbled in looking for refuge, and in finding them, asked for help.

Hm...

Calmly he walked past the cats and over to the fresh-kill pile. What was he going to do now? He had... cats here, new cats, cats he didn't even know if he could trust. He was surprised at how calm his clanmates were, with the fact that three unknown cats just walts into camp and they seem to... be in good relations. Maybe they didn't just walk in, but none-the-less, he couldn't say he would have been the same, now, his pelt bristled, just a smidge, not enough to notice, though.

He turned back towards the cats, his eyes, thoughtful. What was he to say to them? What were they going to say? He could already imagine some conflict as he could see the agitation off the cats pelts, and not too long before he came in had he seen Mudpaw walk out, thoroughly angered.

He padded back over to them, and looked around at each cat. "Care to explain?" He said in an almost... indifferent... tone.

"Apparently a patrol found these cats. They where sick and brought them back here. I should ask somebody who acctually found them." Blacksnow meowed, nearly as clueless as her leader.

Gingersnow climbed up another tree, black claws digging in. It would take time for these cats to notice their own scent.
Sure, she had not been with FireClan at this time, but she had been with FireClan when Flamestar had only been deputy. It had taken her moons to find this place, and she certainly wasn't giving up her place in the Clan. She was determined to earn her place again. She patiently waited for another patrol to come by.

Crowpaw trotted back into camp, two mice in her jaws. The two mice were so measly that they didn't even have much of a scent. Their scent was so dim, that she could smell the sickness of loners coming from camp as she neared it.
I don't recognize these scents... Crowpaw thought, her tail flicking. Her green eyes serveyed the scene as she entered camp. Her green eyes grew wide.
"Who are these cats?" She dared to speak among the older warriors. She sniffed.
"Quite strange, if you ask me. Littlestar, do you know what's going on?"

Dusskit tumbled out the nurcery heading streight for the bushes, chaseing a bit of moss that was blowing away. Giving a little growl, she lept and landed on it, clawing it. Then she looked up and saw the she-cat. Her ears flattened against her head and she stood, mouth open in a silent wail, compleatly paralyzed.

Gingersnow blinked when she saw the kit. Then she smiled and started to purr. She didn't want to scare the poor thing.
"Hello, little kit." Her voice was warm.
"It's okay, I'm not gonna harm ya. Mind gettin' your leader for me? What's 'is name.... Leafstar?" Gingersnow tried to remember the name.

Crowpaw saw as the kit ran out of the nursery, chasing the moss out of camp. If she had eye brows, they would have been raised.
"Dustkit!" She called, following the kit.
"Stay in the-" Her nose detected a different smell. It was FireClan, but... different. She knew this was not a cat she knew.
"Dustkit! Be careful!" Crowpaw yowled.

Littlestar nodded at Blackstar thankfully with filling him in on something, but he could tell that she as as unsure as he was, judging by the way she answered. Yes, they would need to ask the patrol just exactly what happened.

"Right. Evey cat on the patrol, come with me into my den so we can discuss what happened. I would like you there too Blacksnow," he said with a flick of his tail. He took a quick look at his apprentice, Crowpaw, when she asked what was going on. "I wouldn't know either," he told her.

He watched as Duskkit ran into the scene, and he was going to get the kit, but Crowpaw quickly went after him. She could handle it. He had bigger things to deal with at the moment, like this whole cat thing.

What would he do with these cats? They seemed to need help, yes, that much ws clear. They'd need to get warm soon, they'd no doubt have greencough if they stayed like that, and if they were living on the territory, then they could infect the rest of the clan. At the moment, he was thinking more of his clan than those cats. They needed help, but how would their help affect the clan? And how would it affect them if they didn't? There'd be conflict, he knew, but he wasn't sure how bad each side would be.

"For the cats," he said before taking a pause to think just a little longer, "Saphirewing, you take them to your den and see if they have any injuries or any sort." He was she was already doing that, by the looks of how they were stanced, but. he just wanted to make sure the order was out. "I'll decide what to do in the meantime."

Littlestar gave a sigh. "Now, where the any other cats besides the patrol that saw whatever had happened? Pr had some part in it?"
