Amberpaw gazed up at Mountainstar with large, round eyes. Hunting and battling is not what you are made of, but what lies inside your heart and how you act. The words clung to her like dew drops on a damp morning, and echoed inside her head. She was about to ask who Mountainstar's mentor had been when a familuar scent hit her nose. "Thunderclan have come!" She mewed, looking wildly around. She saw a large white cat leading Thunderclan into the clearing. "Well, it's about time Thunderclan have arrived! What took them so long?" Amberpaw demanded, though not expecting to recieve a reply.

As she gazed out over Thunderclan's territory, she spotted a big group of cats. "If I am not mistaken, Thunderclan has arrived." Rosestar mewed with no emotion in her voice. She looked at the she-cat next to her, and then watched Whitestar hop upon the highest branch. "Ah, Whitestar, you've finally arrived!" She mewed in a tone of greeting, relieved to see someone she already knew.

A scent hit Alphonse's nostrils. "Ah, there's Thunderclan!" He exclaimed quietly. Finally, a clan we all know! I wonder what kept them so long.... The wolf thought wonderingly. He dragged his tail around his paws, and waited for the gathering to finally begin.

Amberpaw sensed other cats behind her. She turned her back to Mountainstar and greeted the Thunderclan cats. "Hello, who are you two? I'm Amberpaw. And you could probably tell I am Riverclan, unless your noses are broken." She joked. However, there was something she wanted answered. "What took Thunderclan so long?"

Dawshard bowed here head respectfully to the ShadowClan deputy, "Hello, Winterstorm. I am Dawnshard, IceClan deputy..." Dawnshard was relieve to have found another deputy.

Flint stayed silent as Whitestar came.

Redstar grunted his greeteing to Whitestar, still angry about his near-death experience.

Jadeclaw looked around. Amberpaw was meeting many new cats, he might as well give it a try. He padded over to a white Thunderclan she cat. "Hello, how are you?"

Ravenwing wanted to meet other medicine cats. I can't wait for another half-moon. He scented the air, trying to find a scent of herbs. He prowled around for a medicine cat.

Hawkfire joined the other deputys under the tree.. "Why are there 8 cats on the tree? And why is it so crowded here?" He recognized Rosestar at the top of the tree. "Did Iceclan bring an army?"

Rosestar glanced at the other leaders. "Shall we start the gathering?" She asked, not expecting a reply. After all, no one knew Iceclan or Fireclan. She sighed, though not taking her eyes off the other leaders. There's so many clans here! And why is there a wolf here, along with a whole pack? She wondered.

Redstar replied with a grunt that couldn't be understood.

OOC: sorry i haven't posted

IC: Edward watched the scenes changing with interest, jumping to his paws when RedStar almost fell and cocking his head in a confused, suspicious way when the cat named RoseStar didn't seem to be from a clan that he knew. But at last ThunderClan arrived and the Gathering looked like it was about to commence. He sighed. It would be kind of boring just listening to the higher-ups speak without being able to do anything himself...

Shadowstar crouched on her branch, watching the other leaders. The cat sitting next to her - the one named Rosestar who had offered help to Redstar, had a strange unfamiliar scent. Shadow closed her eyes for a minute or two, remembering the scent of the unknown clan. She smiled briefly as WhiteStar appeared with his cats.

Well Rosestar had to speak to Whitestar so it took more time to get here.
Moonfur sat down."Hey Nightleaf do you know who are is that other cat?(Flamestar)Moonfur pointed at him with his tail.

Whitestar looked around nervously. It was his first gathering and he couldn't wait for it to begin. He waited for another leader to begin the gathering.

Redstar stepped forward. "Since I am the only the leader that has been at a gathering before, other than Shadowstar, I'll start the gathering." He yowled for attention of the uncountable number of cats. "The gathering will now begin! Shadowclan shall go first." Without waiting for any objections, he continued. "Shadowclan has been doing well. Prey is running swiftly, and my clan is well-fed. No cats are sick or injured. However, Shadowclan's peace has been broken. What have we done? Nothing. And yet Thunderclan has been stealing herbs. And for all of you who knew ReedFang...he is dead, killed by a filthy wolf." Redstar's eyes blazed, and he lowered his voice so that only the other leaders could hear. "I'd like to hear your comment on that." He stepped back.

Flint could hardly sit still. But he managed to keep his paws on the ground, instead of swiping at Redstar's neck.

Jadeclaw was surprised by the ferocity in Redstar's voice. I'm glad that doesn't cancern me...

Hawkfire growled. "Thunderclan has done no such thing! We have all the herbs we need in our territory!" Except for Rockleaf. But that's not near their border! He narrowed his eyes at Winterstorm.

Ravenwing shifted. Wow...is Shadowclan always that ungrateful? "Not a great way to start a gathering..."

Dawnshard looked up at the Shadowclan Leader. "Rawr..." She murmered under her breath.

Smallpaw stared at the tree full of leaders. "Who knew Shadowclan was mean?" She muttered to Amberpaw.

Tigerpelt shifted his position. At least they aren't targeting us..

"Do not look at me like that again," Winterstorm hissed warnily to Hawkfire, "I just want the truth of why was a ThunderClan cat on our territory." I can't believe he said it like that, Winterstorm thought to herself about Redstar, Oh yeah, I can believe it.

Moonfur tried to hold his anger in. He remembered when he nearly got killed by Shadowclan when he was a very young warrior. Nightleaf just twitched his tail.Oakclaw watched Smallpaw stare at the tree.

Smallpaw kept calm about the whole Shadowclan and Thunderclan thing. "Hey, Mounatainstar...?" Smallpaw silently mewed over her shoulder, "Why does Shadowclan always try to be the best, and most stuck up, clan here?"

Amberpaw nearly jumped when the yowl was sounded. "Did the gathering just start?" Amberpaw asked Smallpaw, spinning around and sitting next to her friend. She watched the top of the tree with interest. Will I ever be up there? The firey-furred apprentice wondered to herself.

Rosestar merely flicked her ears as the yowled silenced the cats far below them. I will go last. She thought, looking at the large crowd of cat. Then a thought worried her. What if Starclan don't approve? Her head swung to the moon. It still hung there, a clear, bright ball in the sky, devoid of any clouds. Sighing with relief, she looked back at the clans, and listened to Redstar's report.

Tigerpelt chuckled under his breath at Amberpaw's late response to the staring yowl. I remember being like that at my First gathering....

Whitestar assumed that it was his turn to speak, and looked out over the sea of cats below him. "Thunderclan has been very lucky, the prey is plentiful, and we have all the herbs we need." he added the last bit without any emphasize or sign of challenging Shadowclan's word. "We have no need to borrow from any other clan." he shot a quick glance at the leader of Shadowclan, before relaxing once again.

BlackPaw sat behind his leader, ShadowStar, with great pride. His thick tail wrapped around his body and his ears straight up and alert. His topaz eyes narrowed as he looked over all that were at the meeting. He noticed a warrior from RiverClan, ScarPaw, who had been away for a few moons. He caught the large, ginger cat's eye and gave him the slightest nod that was only just noticable by ScarPaw.
