Fang walked up to a great den, large and spacious. She heard that the leader of WolfClan lived in this den, and she needed a mentor to show her how things worked. It seemed Dream, her mother, would be stuck caring for her brothers and sisters for a while. "He-Hello?" she squealed, she could feel her golden fur on its end and her ears pricked in alertness. Fang never imagined that this could be so frightning.

Flint had been watching his clan from a broken window inside his den. Now he turned to the entrance, where he saw Fang. "Come in." He said casually. "What do you need?"

Fang cautiously moved into the den "I am Fang, one of Dream's pups. I am 8 moons now and I want to learn how to hunt. Someone told me to come here looking for Flint." she stared the older wolf with her ember gaze, her cautious fear replaced by hopeful courage "Are you Flint?"

Flint was at a loss of words. 8 moons old and he didn't know his own leader? "Of course I'm Flint!" he growled. Then he calmed himself. "So you need a mentor, eh? There are several gammas ready for a sub..." Flint thought for a moment, wondering who would be best for Fang.

Fang bristled her fur, her body stance in a ready attack, teeth shown in a snarl "I don't know who you are, but I'm not afraid of you." she spat through her fangs. "Just give me a mentor and I'll be out of your fur, fox-dung." Fang had just forgotten why she had come here, if this wolf was important or not. She probably blew her chance of getting a mentor without even knowing it.
