Sasuke stared quizicly at Naruto. "One you... Love?" He asked, straining his ears.

Naruto looked down quickly. "I meant that I don't want to lose anybody,"she mumbled,looking back up. "Anyways,we're not going to have mentors. So we need to teach each other. And we don't have a Clan to protect us anymore,not that we needed protection."she added in a determined voice.

"Fine..." Sasuke sighed, flicking his tail. "If we're to start battle training, then we'll need the basics..." The tom looked around. "How about we.. Start by making our own battle moves... Then, if the Clans try to attack us, we'll have moves that they'll never expect..."

[Naruto]

Naruto nodded. "Okay. We need to start with basics...."she murmured,thinking. "How about we take the moves the apprentices taught us,and add our own ideas to it?"she suggested,remembering the back kick and the leap and hold moves.

Naruto plopped down,exhausted. "Wow,I didn't know you were such a good fighter."she panted,looking up at Sasuke. Her sides heaved,soaked with freezing water. Okay,water plus cold plus training equals not a good idea.

Sasuke snorted. "Toms are tougher than She-Cats..." He muttered, sides barely heaving.

"I'll get stronger than you,"She vowed,her tail twitching. Naruto's green eyes were glazed with exhaustion,though,and she sighed. "Right after I get some sleep."

Sakura walked thourgh shadowclan territory.She was very bored.She walked to the border seeing two kits.Sakura herself was very young.She boredly sat on the border.She wanted to know these cats.Sakura watched them waiting for one to speek.Her head fell to the side as she waited.

Naruto stared at Sasuke,puzzled. "Did you say something?"she asked,her eyes bright.

"Nope..." Sasuke grunted plainly.

"Well,I heard something."Naruto murmured,straining her ears. There it was again. A muted whisper,just barely audible. "Can you hear that?"

Sasuke strained his ears only a bit. "Now I do..."

"What does it sound like? I only hear....a whisper."Naruto mumbled,standing up.

"An animal... Duh..." Sasuke muttered, twitching his tail. "Or, a random Twoleg..."

Naruto ignored the barbed comment and padded forward. Suddenly,she heard a shuffling noise,and her fur stood on end as a horrible stench hit her nose. "Badger.."she whispered. "Just like in my dream." She backed up,towards Sasuke.

Sasuke opened his maw slightly, the foul scent of a Badger drifting in. "I never knew Badgers liked the Swamp..." Sasuke muttered, flicking his ears.

[Naruto]

Naruto's eyes widened with fear as the huge striped head of the badger poked out of a bush,it's eyes bright with hunger. She was right next to Sasuke now,so close their fur brushed. "We have to run,"she whispered. "Before it kills us."

Sasuke's muscles tensed. Who cares if one wants to run? Sasuke wants to fight... The silve-gray tom dropped into a defensive crouch, claws unsheathed. The tom flicked his tail at Naruto. "Are you going to just stand there, or are you going to fight?" He muttered, bolting forwards towards the Badger. Sasuke darted to the side, missing the Badger's large claws. The slim tom leaped onto the Badger's back, his claws slicing down on its coarse fur.

[Naruto]

Naruto stared at Sasuke,horror in her gaze. Then she shrugged off her dream and launched herself at the badger,claws raking across it's nose. It roared,and batted at her,sending her to the ground with a powerful swipe. She got up again and bit down hard on it's front paw,tasting blood in her mouth. The badger struck out at Sasuke,it's beady eyes full of fury and hunger. "You foolish kits will be my supper!" It's growl nearly deafened Naruto,and she shook her head to stop her ears from ringing. She grabbed at the badger's throat,latching on with a strong hold.

[LEN KAGAMINE]

Sasuke swiftly dodged the Badger's claws, yet again, his eyes locking onto what Naruto was doing. The tom grunted, lundging for the Badger's throat, too. With the extra power, the badger shouldn't be able to leave without some large gashes in his neck area.

[Naruto]

Naruto yelped as a massive claw caught her shoulder,and she was torn off of the badger's throat,flying through the air from the powerful hit and landing with a thud in some snowdrops,their white flowers hiding her unconscious form. A deep gash in her silver pelt oozed blood,and it soaked into the ground as Sasuke fought the flailing badger.

Sasuke's eyes quickly went from the Badger, to Naruto, and back to the Badger again. Foxdung... The tom spat curses at the Badger, his claws tugging at the Badger's fur as he tightened his grip around its neck.
