"Tell me about it."Naruto agreed,wrinkling her nose at the stench. "How much do you know about hunting?"

"Aw... Two sweethearts." meowed a voice. Suddenly... Out of the muck appeared Owlkit, covered in swamp goop and weeds, with a small frog in his mouth with only a foot hanging out of it. He must of looked disgusting especially with a Lilly pad on his head. He cocked his head making the lilly pad fall off. Through the frog he mumbled something, similar too, "What are you doing here?"

"Eh... I think I'll catch on..." Sasuke mewed, for the first time in a while. The tom cat flicked his ears up, listening to the sounds around him. A small rustle sounded in the bog besides them, and a small croaking noise was heard. The tom cat darted for it, but was interupted by another kit. "You might be?" He hissed, irritated that the kit interrupted his hunting.

[Naruto]

"We are not lovebirds,"Naruto said icily,glancing at Sasuke. "Who are you,anyway?"

"I'm Owlpaw." lied Owlkit, dropping the morsel of toad flesh on the ground. "You're not from here are you?" he asked before this she-cat interrupted him stating that they weren't love birds. "But... You're obviously traveling together, you must mean a lot to each other... Hey, are you preganent with his kits? You're looked a little plump, plumper than a RiverClan she-cat." said Owlkit not stopping even when his words turned into insults.

Sasuke sighed. What an annoying kit... "Look, kid... We have no time for your childish games..."

Naruto hissed,rage filling her expression. "Who're you to talk,foxdung!"she spat,stalking forward so that she was nose to nose with the other cat. Her claws slid out,and she growled menacingly.

"You know you're kind of pretty." meowed Owlkit looking into Naruto's eyes like he was in a trance. "If only you two knew how to hunt, maybe you wouldn't travel on empty bellies. Wait! I have an idea! I'll hunt in this swamp for you, if you tell me your stories." mewed Owlkit pulling himself away from Naruto. "Oh, I forgot to ask, who are you two?" he finally asked distractedly as he looked around for his next piece of prey.

Naruto paused,her claws still out and her fur bristling. What the heck....?she thought in confusion,sitting down and curling her tail over her paws. "My name is Naruto."she said curtly,glancing over at Sasuke again.

Sasuke's jaw dropped. What's with this kit? Claiming to be an Apprentice, hitting on Naru, and asking for stories? What type of messed up world has he awoken to? Eh... Who cares. Sasuke shook his head. "My name is of no importance... What type of stories do you think we'd know?"

Naruto looked Sasuke in the eyes,mouthing,"What is with this guy?" Her confusion was clear in her green gaze,and she backed slowly away from Owlkit,closer to Sasuke.

"Well, first of all, how you met? What you're doing on my territory. And... Um... If 'Naruto' is single?" meowed Owlkit shuffling in the bushes, looking for a newt or frog or something to snack on, his recent prey deserted. He was too busy ignoring the emo cat who was now nameless.

Naruto remained silent,not wanting to answer these questions. But she felt her fur grow hot at the repeated jabs of whether she and Sasuke were mates or not. By now she was beside Sasuke,so close they're pelts brushed against each other.

Sasuke sighed. "Ok then... 'story' number one... We met from the Nursery... Duh... 'Story' number two... We aren't on your territory... We are right outside Shadowclan territory... 'Story' number three..." Sasuke looked over at Naru. "Quite frankly... I don't know if she's single... I haven't paid much attention..." The tom stared back at Naruto. Why was she so silent during this time?

In a bold leap, Owlkit flopped into the mood, a heavy sized toad, leaping in just a second ahead of him. Quickly he surfaced caked in the stuff, with a huge, squelchy toad in his mouth. Still kicking too. From his mouth a steady croaking could be heard. "Oh, if she's single, then will you be mates with me Naruto? I always loved the name Naruto, it's beautiful isn't it other guy?"

Naruto started to fidget nervously,her paws working the earth. "Why do you ask?"she said in a shaky voice. She prayed to StarClan Sasuke didn't hear the tremble in her tone.

Sasuke looked at the kit quizicaly. "Er... Yeah..." The tom pricked his ears at Naru's voice. "Whats wrong, dobe?" He muttered, prodding her flank with his tail.

I've always loved you ever since I layed eyes on you." said Owlkit dramatically dropping the toad at Naruto's feet and looking into her eyes like he really was in love. Maybe he had even fooled himself into believing it. Who knew with this kit.

"Nothing,"Naruto hissed back,avoiding his eyes. She looked up at Owlkit in disbelief. "Um,"she started nervously,shrinking.

Sasuke grunted, pushing his way between Owlkit and Naru. "Leave her alone... if you can't tell, she doesn't want a little, pathetic excuse for a kit to be hitting on her!" The tom hissed, glaring at the kit.

Naruto glanced up,surprised that Sasuke was defending her. "Uh,"she said in a small voice,her fur hot with embarrassment.

"Oh..." whimpered Owlkit stepping back from the unnamed kit, feeling bruised from the heavy insult. So this is why he always stayed in the Nursery. Everyone hated him on the outside world. "Well... I'll just leave... Yo-You can h-hav-h-have... The frog I caught." he meowed forlornly padding away from the pair with his head down.
